"Guilt free Italian cooking." This is what Pastaroni Restaurant's promise to their customers. I was lucky enough to be invited by website Philippines to experience this hidden awesomeness in Bonifacio Global City. The restaurant is really a bit hidden and I actually thought I was lost when I came in. The place is located at the 2nd Floor of Commercenter in the corner of 4th avenue and 31st Street in BGC. The entrance of the restaurant is near the HSBC side and you'll take either the elevator or the stairs to go up. Do not be shocked when you found out that it is a parking area just go ahead, and Pastaroni is the second restaurant in the second floor.

Pastaroni has made the impossible possible, make me love pasta more than rice. Like a true blue Filipino, I prefer my meals with a combination of salty viands and a pile of rice. But thanks to Pastaroni, I have a regained my long lost love for pasta. The very nice owner, Ms.Roni, welcomed us to this hole in the wall restaurant in CommerCenter. Don't use waze when you look this resto up, it will take you to Bonifacio Stopover which happens to be it's former location during its humble beginnings. As a landmark, look for Kuppa or Chatime, that's the resto at the ground floor of this building. When you get to the 2nd floor, don't be surprised to just see floor full of cars. Yes, you will be led to the parking, this place is a gem, and gems are hard to find. Despite being hidden , you'd be surprised with the amount of walkins the resto gets even on a Tuesday night. I suggest to reserve prior.Once you enter the resto, you will be impressed with the quaint, faintly-lit, romantic interiors that can comfortably sit roughly 30 people.website foodies and reviewers were served a long list of dishes from the menu. While everything is delicious and mouth watering, let me just focus on what stood out for my palette:Ossu Buco - lean chunks of meat in tomato sauce!Baked Fish Pesto Creme Penne - two thumbs up! perfectly AL dente pasta mixed with tasty pesto sauce topped with a large cream dory! Ive never had pesto this good!Sausage Arrabbiata - again perfectly AL dente pasta now topped with spicy Italian sausage and thick tomato sauce with the right amount of kick in the taste buds.Smoked Salmon Linguine - the rich flavor of the cream is tasty yet not overpowering. I like cream based sauces more than anything, but today, I may have found my favorite. For dessert, we had carrot cake, chunky choco and choco lava. Try them all. Again, try them all.Great accommodation by the staff, incredibly fast service and genuinely good food, you'd think this was managed by a pro in the food business. But you'd be surprised that Ms.Roni, the owner is actually an engineer by profession who loves to cook. She's found her calling. She truly belongs in the kitchen to cook delish dishes for humanity. For the environment conscious, you'd be happy to know this restaurant is extra cautious of spoilage and uses environment-friendly items. For the health conscious, you'd be happy to know they serve pure meat, 90% lean and only 10% fat with no extenders. For those who want to celebrate special occasions, listen up, they don't serve alcohol, so BYOB BECAUSE CORKAGE IS ABSOLUTELY FREE!!! Best news ever! Here's my summary, you're missing half of your life if you don't try this place. I rest my case.

Another website event to enjoy another amazing restaurant. For tonight, our destination is Pastaroni in BGC. The restaurant is located at the 2nd floor of Commercenter in 4th Ave and 31st street of BGC. The restaurant is a bit hidden from a regular customer's view and it just recently transferred to Commercenter Bldg. There are two restaurants on the second floor and you'll be surprised that it is a parking lot. Pastaroni is the second restaurant upstairs. There's a lot in store for us tonight which includes Pizza, Pasta, Meatballs and Cakes and I am really to excited to try them all out. Our menu for tonight's include their Meatball Marinara. A big and juicy meatball that is very flavorful you may opt to eat it with rice which in fact is being served in the restaurant. They also served us two kinds of Pizza which is the Italian Sausage Pizza and the Roasted Vegetable Pizza. I liked the Italian Sausage Pizza better than the other but it is not bad at all. Next on their list is their version of Osso Buco. Tender Beef Chunks in a tomato based sauce which is very tasty and a bit on the sour side maybe because of the sauce.Tonight is mainly about their pasta so we will be having a feast starting off with: Sausage Arrabbiata, which is one of the favorites for tonight. The sausage is just too tasty and juicy it can stand on its own. Baked Fish Pesto Cream Penne, a creamy pesto based pasta topped with a big slice of cream dory fish.Smoked Salmon Linguine, a cream based pasta topped with smoked salmon. I find the salmon a bit raw for me since I am not a big fan of raw food.Spicy Tuna Spaghetti, a very simple tuna spaghetti tossed in olive oil with fresh basil, tomatoes and olives. Pretty much satisfying for me.Spanish Chorizo and Roasted Tomato and Garlic Linguine. This pasta dish has a very traditional taste.Baked Italian Sausage and Mushroom, it is a baked creamy pasta with bits of italian sausages. For our dessert, we had The Carrot Cake, The Choco Lava and The Chunky Chocolate cake. Amongst these three lovely cakes The chunky chocolate is my favorite next is the choco lava and the third is the carrot cake. The chunky chocolate has chunks of chocolates in between layers of chocolate cake. A perfect way to end your night of eating here at Pastaroni.Moving over to why they are guilt free, here are some facts about Pastaroni: check out my page http://meljervy.blogspot.com/2015/10/pastaroni-guilt-free-italian-cooking.html?m=1So there you have it, if you are looking for a really great dining experience you must come and visit Pastaroni in BGC. The food is really great and their staffs are very very welcoming. The restaurant does not offer alcoholic beverages and you can bring your OWN alcoholic beverages with no charges. Just remember to drink moderately, well in this case a bottle of wine would be perfectThank you very much to Ma'am Roni for being so generous and for the complimentary food. Good job also to the staff of Pastaroni for doing a good job. Add me onfacebook: https://www.facebook.com/websitedayout

As a person who loves inviting friends for catch-up meals or get-togethers, finding this restaurant is like the best thing ever! It's very cozy and perfect for intimate meals with family and friends! You can really bring your friends for a reunion here!!! It's decently quiet but flexible on your preferred set-up. Food is great is you are into pasta and pizza. What I didn't like here during my second visit was some of my favorites from the menu were not available. For pasta, I loved the Fish Fillet in Pesto Cream and the Sausage Arrabiata and the Four Cheese Pizza didn't disappoint!!! Another best thing here is that you can bring your bottle of wine with no corkage! Definitely an intimate party place!

Was craving for seafood pasta and went here expecting to satiate my craving. Lo and behold, the mixed seafood linguine was out of stock. This was the first time I experienced this in BGC. Wasted gas and time going to this place. The place has a nice ambiance but we came at a wrong time because I think the staff was having a meeting. Wasn't intentionally eavesdropping but couldn't help in doing so because they were having the meeting right next to our table and things were heating up between staff members. It's no problem to have a meeting to improve your service or address problems within the staff but doing this in front of your customers with some of the staff members crying their hearts out to each other was not a pleasant experience for us. Same with the food. Opted for the make-your-own-pasta, italian sausage pizza and the cheesy broccoli soup. Even for the fair price point, the quality is still bad. Serving time was quick though. Gotta give them props for that. But overall, a bad experience. I hope that meeting they had helps them in the near future.

Fast service. Mediocre food. Unpleasant staff. But it's cheap though. If you're in BGC, on a budget and just want to something in your stomach. This is the place to eat.

Pastaroni should be at the top of your list of affordable hangouts in Bonifacio Global City. They serve really generous portions of pizza and pasta for the price. We were able to try a number of their dishes at their 6th anniversary dinner, and here are the dishes that really stood out:1. Meatball Marinara - a lean meatball made of equal portion of pork and beef, this dish is so full of flavor that you can't seem to get enough of it. It's also the same meatballs they use for the Spaghetti and meatballs pasta. 2. Sausage Arrabiata - If you want some pasta with a generous (and I mean HUGE) portion of spicy hungarian sausage, this is the dish to get. I personally love it because it's just so damn flavorful! Definitely a winner!3. Salmon Linguine - the best white sauce pasta in their menu, this dish is rich and the cream wonderfully blends well with the smoked salmon on top.4. Italian Sausage and Mushroom - who doesn't love a baked pasta dish with loads of cheese on it? You can also try the Bacon and Cheese because, who doesn't love bacon?5. Chunky Chocolate Cake - definitely a winner to cap off a pasta heavy night. It's rich and, while it's not the best one in the Metro, it gets the job done as a nice, sweet finish.Food Quality: 3.5Service Quality: 4.0Ambiance: 3.5Overall Quality: 3.5Cheers,Chef JayDisclaimer: This is a sponsored review. Pastaroni offers great pasta in unbelievably affordable prices! My favorite is the Wild Mushroom Fusili. The pasta is al dente and the flavor of the mushroom although light, is evenly distributed throughout the dish. The Italian Sausage and Mushroom Baked Pasta is also a great choice but there are some portions of the dish where the pasta is dry. The Four Cheese Pizza is not bad, though I don’t think it’s their bestseller since it’s too plain. The Shrimp Fra Diavolo Linguine (shrimps in chili garlic olive oil) is not recommended – the entire dish doesn’t have any flavor. Prices are reasonable, portions are just right. Will be coming back here for sure!

I tried their Salmon Linguine. It's nothing out of the ordinary. Bland and tastes homemade. Not worth the P200+ price tag.Ambiance is terrible. I went here on a Saturday lunch and they are playing radio drama in the background.Very disappointed.

Pastaroni in BGC is all about homey, affordable comfort food. This hole-in-the-wall, which has been around since 2009, serves pasta dishes, pizzas, and other Italian favorites to the hungry working crowd of BGC. Despite the fact that it's quite discreet, I was surprised to find a packed restaurant when I went for dinner. The pastas are quite good, especially the smoked salmon in cream sauce, sausage arrabiata, and baked penne with Italian sausage. While not "authentic Italian level", the pasta dishes are priced reasonably, just right for the quality. Also the restaurant prides itself for healthy methods of cooking, so those wanting to binge on Italian food without the guilt would love it.The osso buco is delicious and comforting, the beef so tender and flavorful. Same with the meatballs marinara, which comes topped with mozzarella, or can be ordered with rice. The dessert selection is great: a choco lava cake that was rich and indulgent; a chunky chocolate cake; and a carrot cake. I think it would be better if the restaurant introduced its own beverage creations though.Dishes range from PhP150 - PhP200+, perfect for the working population. If I worked nearby, I'd definitely take friends here.
