Exquisite Papermoon Mille Crepe Meets Matcha Heaven!🍵Subtly sweet, creamy and fine green tea powder infused in every delicate paper-thin layer of no less than 20 crepes, topped with pure matcha.I have been craving to taste this famous Matcha Mille Crepe for a long time now. It's been being raved a lot by website friends so I decided to drag my friend here for dessert. The Matcha Mille Crepe is priced P225 per slice and P2000 whole. First impression: It looks pretty and fancy. It didn't taste bad but it didn't taste so good to be worth the hype at all. I'm a matcha fan, so I was really looking for the strong matcha taste, but then I got upset cause I was only able to taste it on the powder. Maybe because it was so light and creamy so the matcha flavor blended so well you can only taste the milk cream. I appreciate it being subtle and light but I was looking for MORE. It didn't give me the matcha sparks I was looking for.Anyway, I still liked it but I didn't love it. I may come back for it but only if I need something light for a dessert. To add to that, my friend  tried the Checkered Cake which is P250 per slice. It's a vanilla chocolate chiffon cake covered with a chocolate ganache in checkered style. Honestly, we were both disappointed with this cake. Probably because we're both not fan of chiffon cakes and it tasted quite blant. It's moist but I really can't find the exact words to describe how it tasted cause, it was so light and airy. 😢Overall, this is a bad first experience with Papermoon Cafe. Maybe I should try their Chocolate Mille Crepe instead? Will think twice again before I go back here 😋SPECIAL NOTE: To lessen the negativity of this post, I just realized this might be a good cafe for the adults/ elderly/ Titas of Manila/and the like. And because it's not too sweet of a cake, you can definitely eat 1 whole slice of it without the feeling of umay-ness.

Their cakes took me back to Japan, I loved everything. Not so sweet yet very fulfilling for an insane sweet tooth like me. 100% will definitely go back for more! Especially for that matcha crepe cake and strawberry shortcake.

I can't believe our desserts sesh is more expensive than our lunch😩😂 But I finally tasted Japan's best - they say. Well, it's good, not spectacular and just way too expensive. I guess, I should have tried the Matcha tho. I've seen impressive reviews. Next time. :)

Visited Paper Moon at Uptown Mall for our dessert and coffee. The Mango Mille Crepe was good. Made up of 20 thin layers of Crepe stacked together with cream and finished with a caramelized crust. Even a slice took quite a bit of eating! Salted Caramel Blended Coffee was good. Americano was ok.

A pleasant place but the crepe cake is vastly overrated and overpriced. I do not understand the fascination or the fame. Give me Conti's Mango Bravo any time.

By far the worst aroma/flavor of crepe I've tasted. Plus the staff are not attentive with my order. Can't expound a review well as to my experience dining in this cafe. 😰

Went to Uptown Mall with a friend to check out the new hangout in BGC. The place is still very new and a number of shops are yet to open. After some window shopping, we looked for a place to have coffee/drinks and got intrigued by the photo of the ube mille-crepe cake outside. The store itself is not inviting. The outlet looked dull with the choice of furnishing and colors. The display case and the kitchen-looking section behind it looked misplaced. I would suggest the owner to give the interior design a second look.Service was also very basic. For some reason, the staffs converged at the back. We were not sure what they were doing considering we were the only customers at the time. The crew needs to be more engaging. For drinks, my friend ordered iced coffee while I had calamansi lemonade. We also ordered the ube mille crepe to share. The lemonade was fine. The calamansi infusion was evident enough, however, I found it to be too sweet. My friend only finished half his coffee. The mille-crepe was a different story. It was impressively good. Each layer had the same consistency in its thinness and had a good ube (yum) flavour. This place has good products. If only it can work on the aesthetics of its stores and improve service...

Been searching for strawberry shortcake that would replace my favorite, and I guess I finally found one. Just the right balance of strawberries and cream, and the best part is... its not frozen. Paper Moon also have crepe cakes like Ube and Matcha Green tea. All tasted very nice. Just enough sugar... not too sweet... and the matcha and ube tasted very prominent. Very good!
