Taste: 2.5I ordered via website. I won't say it's worth a detour. If you happen to be around and feel like some crepe cake, maybe this is the one for you. I ordered one of each flavor, including the choux.I don't really get it why strawberry and orginial are best sellers - nothing special. However, this is too sweet to my liking. And to be honest, nothing special. I think it's close to Lady M, which is equally sweet and tasteless. How I interpret it is - layers of crepes with super sweet whipped cream inbetween, even the motcha. I think cheese is a bit better than the others, but I'd rather just go for ensaymada or cheese cake.Chouxe - a bit lemony which I really like about. However, the puff pastry is not really crispy. Not worth the calories.Puff - waste of money. Pastry is not crispy. Filling is pure sweetened whipped cream.

I like their fruit lemonades especially on hot days, definitely refreshing. Since they don't have a physical store (they have a small kiosk), seating is limited. Upside is that they are located at the end of the 3rd floor (facing the entrance) so you have a veranda feel and it makes it a little private.

Two words: Mille Crepe. I do not know any other restaurant/ cafe that does these unique wonderful crepe desserts better. Long gone are the days when we Manilenos would only gawk online at the Mille crepes (crepe cakes) from Lady M in New York and Hong Kong. These were the subject of all the buzz in those cities and even more so when they set foot in Manila. The layers of buttery soft crepes (don’t bother counting how many layers there are) with the light and delicious cream in the middle make Papermoon's version taste absolutely sublime. Not complaining about its price point either. This establishment was part of SM Aura Premier’s Art in Coffee for the rest of September. This campaign sprung from SM Aura Premier’s Art in Aura, which features notable names and neophytes in the local art scene. It also aims to celebrate the truly wonderful world of coffee through various activities, promotions, and treats from participating cafes. Mille crepe paired with a coffee beverage is just Php 260 here at Papermoon Cafe for a limited time. This is their Signature Perfect Pair that's worth your penny. Aside from this splendid news, expect to witness other flavors from their lineup. These include Ube Mille Crepe, Blueberry Cheesecake Crepe Cake, and their Baked Tarts Collection. They caught on the Ube-flavored treats wave, which is just rightful since it has been an unsung Filipino favorite and now it’s a global phenomenon. The Blueberry Cheesecake Crepe Cake is definitely a must-try as well, their classic take on of the popular sweet and tangy topping. And take home some of the baked cheese tarts. They are rich in both savory and sweet tastes.

My partner told me she'd be going ahead to Paper Moon, as I was still lining up at a cashier.I arrived after a mere 10minutes. Saw her on a table with a big smile. And that's a good sign. But well... She just ordered 3 slices of mille crepe. Original. Ube. Matcha. And a coffee americano.Japanese desserts are mostly lightly sweetened. And it's good. The 3 were delicious, but we both loved the matcha flavored.Price is quite expensive for just a slice.

Got a slice of their original mille crepe. So its basically a layered crepe cake thats actually very similar to Lady M in NYC. Its not to sweet and the crepe has a nice texture but I’m not a big fan.

The food was great! I tried chocolate crepe cake and it has perfect sweetness that will leave you wanting another slice. Definitely worth the try!

Paper Moon Cafe made a name for itself for it's decadent crepe cakes.  I am not really fond of this French treat as I find it too simple and i think my palate is not sophisticated enough to appreciate the taste. Then there's the matcha version,  i was sold.    When it comes to matcha,  i go all in.  Albeit the stormy afternoon,  i rushed to Aura to try this matcha treat.  Prices are steep,  one slice will cost you php 220.  And man,  i tried my very best to snap a good photo.  First,  it's not as green as i thought it would be.  There are probably 10 or so layers of crepe stacked together.  Each layer is slathered with matcha flavored cream.  The top is sprinkled with powdered sugar x matcha powder.   As for the taste,  i liked it as it is not too sweet - you can taste the matcha,  not too pronounced but you get to savour the leafy taste.  Crepe cakes are sophisticated dessert.  You have to appreciate the subtlety and simplicity to truly enjoy it's decadence.

Was feeling down and a little blue one weekend. To cheer myself up, I do what any normal person would do, turn to food to make me happy. Paper Moon was just dessert after dessert after dessert. The flavours aren't subtle (I'm a big fan of subtle dessert flavours). Regardless the desserts looked great, great variety and tasted good. My shame list... Cream puffs (ahhhhhmazing), strawberry shortcake (nice), checkered cake (yahhhh baby), dark chocolate cookie sandwich (ok a little too strong), rum rasian cookie (great).

Several months back, social media was raving about this quaint pastry shop known for its crepe cakes. Available in flavors such as original, chocolate, mango and strawberry, kids and adults alike flock to the shop like bees toward honey. But since its first shop was located in Makati, its sweet aroma did not reach me till… it opened a branch in SM Aura.Hello, Paper Moon! Finally, after so many months, I could now sink my teeth on those soft, delectable layers of thin crepe!I was rushing to go home when I made a quick stop here and unfortunately had to wait for my turn as the server was busy with a group of indecisive diners. It gave me some time though to take snapshots of the place.I wanted to get strawberry because strawberry is LOVE but they ran out of slices and I was not willing to splurge PHP350 for a mini cake. (I was still not sure if it’s worth PHP350 so I hesitated.)I ended up buying a slice of mango crepe (PHP225) and had it prepped to go. (And the server was nice to accommodate my request to have my slice wrapped first as I really had to go home ASAP.)After giving my tummy some time to digest my heavy dinner, I started to plate my crepe cake and…It was delicious. It was like having real mango crepe without the mango cubes. The top part of the cake was slightly dry and burnt but it was still okay. I loved the middle part best as it had the most mango filling and cream. But the question is, is it worth PHP225?Perhaps if you like crepes. Not really if you’re not fond of it.I’ll definitely try strawberry next time!
