I ordered the Pho Special which came with different types of meat. The good thing about it is that it comes in 2 sizes. I split the Banh Mi with my sister. It was quite good. I also liked the spring rolls we ordered. The 2 sauces that came with it helped to add more flavor. We had a coffee jelly dessert to end the meal. I wish I had ordered Vietnamese coffee because I have heard good things about it. Vietnamese cuisine is quite new to me, so I rarely dine at Vietnamese restaurants but I was satisfied with my meal here at Phat Pho, Serendra. The servers were also helpful about answering my questions about how to flavor my pho bowl.@maniladiningdiary

I work nearby so I usually eat here when it's pouring. A hot bowl of pho on a rainy night is always a good idea. The place is quite small but the interior, from the floor tiles down to their utensil holder looks very nice. I also appreciate their staff - service is very good and they seem to be very comfortable when they interact with their customers. My favorite would be their classic Pho Bo. They can do better with the presentation but tastes really fresh and good. As for their rolls, one must always try their pork goi coun. It really hits the spot.

Pho was just good, nice light broth, a little weak for my liking. The fresh spring roll is quite 'usual'. My favorite of the day was the chicken satay. Although I think the flavor was more Thai than Vietnamese, it's was pretty good with strong lemongrass and coriander seasoning. The service was generally good, waiter was attentive. Food service was slow even though it was hardly busy. The overall restaurant has a modern feel, it's clean and fresh, but nothing really stood out as out of the ordinary.

It was a rainy Friday night, the commute had been hell, and I was looking for something to eat when we passed by here. Pho has always been a source of comfort and satisfaction for me so imagine my disappointment when neither had been had.Phó Special. Broth was bland. Granted pho broth is never really strong but it lacked that certain herby, beefy, hearty pho broth taste. Vegetables were not fresh. The singular meatball looked and tasted weird. I don't know if it was just a particulary bad night or if the universe hated me at that moment and decided to give me a bad bowl but there was nothing special about this pho at all. Literally the worst I've tried.

The menu looks good, seems legit vietnamese. All the toppings that I'm expecting on a Pho can be seen- mint leaf, sprout, chili. They have hot chili sauce, but doesn't have the brown concoction that goes with it (sweet barbequish). It was replaced with what looks like a fish sauce. I want to go traditional so I did not manage to check. The ambiance, not so vietnamese. They got the modern style but same as pho 24 outlets in vn.I ordered pho special (250), fresh shrimp rolls (200) and a vn coffee that I cannot find in the menu but have asked the staff and is available.Pho: Should come with a plate of greens for you to pluck by yourself, but this one came with it already. I really like to fill my bowl with mint, cannot do it now.Serving size, a bit small for the price. I did not order large because I can see from the other table that the only difference is the bowl size, not the contents. Plus, I have fresh rolls.Presentation not that appealing. As usual, it's very different from the pictures. VN pho is known to have a deep beef flavor in the broth, almost like punching you in the face. This one was so so. With this being said, I did not finish the base. I had a bad experience with MSG from a ramen shop, trying to replicate the flavor artificially. By the way, the brown stuff came with the pho serving- half a teaspoon of it.Noodles were good, same texture as that of vn streets. Overall, your fix will not be satisfied and will leave still looking for pho.Rolls: I think (not sure) was prepared prior order, then chilled. You can notice that on the edges of the greens. Also not VN because mint was replaced with cabbage. Cilantro was not there... Not a lot of rice noodles/vermicelli, and there's tomato?!VN coffee: Just sad. Came already mixed, it was supposed to be served separately and coffee in a drip filter, with condensed milk on the side. But all was combined again. Worst, all I can taste is dairy. It taste like infant milk!. I don't like Ba Nois but I will choose them for the coffee, anytime. Those who rated this 4/5, wait until you try authentic Vietnamese pho. Might say I'm too picky, but this is coming from a guy who lived in Vietnam for 5 years.Crossed.
