    A must-try here is the Crispy Shrimp in Phat Pong Curry Rice. An excellent choice for the adventurous website, looking for strong flavors on the palate. If you have't tried it yet, you're missing out.

    So, me and my highschool BFFs went to the fort to  spend some quality time AKA to eat. We weren't really sure on where we would be eating or at least, what we would want to eat. So I had my handy app here (ahem ahem) and to search for the nearest ones on where we were at. We were dropped by the forum by my friend's driver and our food journey stops there. I stumbled upon O'Rice on my app and I thought, hey! Why not some korean food. My friends were cool with it so, in we go.Before we even got in, one of the members of the staff went out and greeted us with their menu on hand. We took a quick glance before deciding that that was were we wanted to eat. Place was very spacious and colorful. The interiors looked so fun and I saw some local koreans eating as well. That gave me the thought that we may be experiencing something good and authentic here.We had a hard time choosing what we wanted to eat because a lot of 'em just looked so good!  But we decided to get the Topoki, Spicy Seafood Ramen and the Chicken Cutlet Rice. Serving time was a bit long but they had an open kitchen so you'd see that everything was being prepared. We were served a complementary side dish of what I think was spiced up Sayote and Kimchi. It was okay, a bit too  cold for me and it was spicy. When our food was served, everything was hot which was good! It was raining so hard outside so something hot would be good. The Chicken Cutlet Rice was yummy. Kimchi rice was flavorful, but not too spicy. Chicken was a bit dry and tough tho. Seafood Ramen was also good. The broth was not too spicy, which was good for me. It had a very hefty serving, plus the mussels were good and tasted fresh. The Topoki, on the other hand was flamin! I liked how spicy yet sweet the broth is it was thick. Perfect for that kind of weather.Price was also okay. 1000php for all these is not bad. Also kudos to the guy who was serving us because, when we asked him for some water, my friend told me that her food was just so spicy. He said that he thought that we were sharing so he asked the broths to be added. So that's why he gave us extra separate bowls. Haha. But he was also nice and very pleasant.I'm not really sure if this is what authentic korean food tastes like but I sure liked it. Made me a fan and, will definitely come back!

    The restaurant’s interior is quite different from the other Korean restaurants that I have been to. Unlike the typical dim and cozy setup that I am used to, O’Rice is sporting a festive vibe with its colorful walls. O’Rice may not fall into the usual Korean restaurant mold when it comes to its interiors, but their food definitely didn’t disappoint!To warm our tummies, we decided to have their Spicy Seafood Ramen. My husband and I went to a phase when we got really addicted to those Korean cup noodles that we usually get from the supermarket. But that day, we got to have something more than dehydrated noodles mixed with bright orange powdered seasoning! Haha!At PHP248, you’ll surely get your money’s worth with the generous serving of shrimp, squid and mussels. The noodles were also cooked to perfection. I was expecting it to be soggy given the fact that the broth was too hot when it was served to us. The noodles were still firm up until we finished our bowl. The broth was just divine! It was very tasty, and each sip gave us that distinct seafood flavor. Is it really spicy? Yes, but it was something bearable. This part is subjective because I have very high tolerance with spicy dishes. I remember that one of my officemates was not able to stand the heat.

    I watched this film Castaway on the Moon recently, and been on the hunt for jjajangmyeon (noodle dish topped with black bean paste) since then. The film featured the instant one (golden wrapper) that can be found in most grocery stores with acceptable international food sections. I've been googling countless times but results that come up are those in faraway QC or hard to figure out Malate. Took me a while to realize that the best tool to search for it is this site, and that's when I found O'Rice. Situated in the metro's sweet spot and up and coming traffic capital BGC, by distance it's really close to Makati, however, trips to BGC must be planned carefully, as I know of someone who spent almost Php1000 in Uber charges from BGC to Makati (this was during the fateful September carmageddon). Saturday noon traffic seemed light so we went there. We felt lucky to have reached BGC with an Uber fee of less than Php150. We were greeted by the guy at the door, got seats, and quickly scanned their menu. The Missus ordered the spicy seafood ramyeon, as well as the other one we've been missing since our Seoul trip last year - tteokbokki. Got the jjajanmyeon for myself and felt weird about the all-noodle feast that we will soon have on the table. So after about 4 or 5 minutes, our orders came. My black bean noodle was gorgeous, with the onion chunks cooked just right. Just a bit on the sweet side, it was good but my quest for Manila's best jjajangmyeon is still on-going. Of the 4 places here we've eaten tteokbokki from, O'Rice's sauce is the one that stood out; too bad instead of the usual thick noodles, they used instant ramen noodles. Good thing is they put shrimp, crabstick and soondae tempura in the thing, as well as a piece of gyoza. The spicy seafood ramyeon was ok; not that special, though the serving was huge. Actually, all the servings were huge so noodle belly (TM) after the meal was inevitable. O'Rice is part of a restaurant family, which includes the one beside it (Yoree) and many others, as well as one whose description is Italian-Korean fusion. Very curious to try that one out.

    Those who know me understand that I'm not crazy about Korean cuisine. There are, however, a few exceptional restaurants such as Bornga and Cafe Seol Hwa. We had lunch at O'Rice because it's actually an affordable Korean restaurant in Bonifacio Global City. Unfortunately, the restaurant failed to deliver. I had a Bibimbap (one of their bestsellers) and it was beautifully presented but it was BLAND. I mean, how can you have a dish with that much vegetables and still be bland? Well, I don't think i'll be coming back here ever based on this experience. That was money not well-spent. Food Quality: 2.0Service Quality: 3.0Ambiance: 3.5Cheers,Chef Jay

    O'Rice... O'K.....This could be just another rice topping joint with Korean flair which I think just gets lost in all the other restaurants. It's pretty generic but definitely good enough if you just want to get your rice fix.I tried the chicken cutlet rice (P248) crispy chicken cutlet on top of kimchi fried rice. Very straightforward and hits the spot with both components of the dish.Service was quite good and attentive for our table but the table right next to us had a harder time getting the waiter's attention. Maybe the fedora hat with feathers helped getting their attention ... joke!

    O' Rice is another Korean restaurant that I have recently tried. Due to the Korean fad, more Korean restaurants seem to be opening. This place is located in The Forum in Fort Bonifacio. It has an open kitchen, thus you get the see the food being prepared. Service was quite slow and it took a long time before our orders arrived. I order the bibimbap since it's their best-seller according to the menu. The bibimbap was just okay. It was not the best one I have tried. Overall, I'm not looking forward to go back to this place.

    O'Rice is a unique Korean resto. They served really good authentic Korean food. Last year, we got hooked with Korean food after a vacation in Seoul. We got to try most on their menu. Our favourite is their bibimbap, chicken cutlet rice, army stew, topoki, and popcorn chicken. To top it all up with their refreshing brewed iced tea. Our only complain is their airconditioning. On all the 7 times we've been there, the air was just too humid and warm.

    Decided to eat here instead of Sarsa because my brother said that it's not worth the price, though a lot of celebrity reviews were written upon sighting the resto. Went there around 5pm but there were only a few people eating. Place was decent enough, but looks like a fast food chain if you ask me.Ordered:chicken popcorn, ttukbokki, chicken cutlet with mango sago soda and kimchi fried rice.I loved the chicken popcorn! It has a sweet and spicy sauce♡♡♡My father ordered the chicken cutlet with kimchi fried rice at the bottom +P50 for the drink (he ordered the mango soda). He loved it, but for me it was normal, nothing special or extraordinary.Ttukbokki was a disappointment for me for it's price. The sauce was a bit off for my taste. But for spicy lovers, you can try this one. It has ramyeon, rice cake, fish cake and Korean dumpling.Kimchi fried rice was ordered by my brother which was another okay-ish dish.     Decided to dine here a few weeks back with my family. O'RICE is another Korean restaurant that can be found in the BGC. It seems like more Korean restaurants are opening here in the Philippines. O’RICE is located at The Forum in BGC right next to Yoree Korean Dining which is another Korean restaurant. Food was ordinary, nothing too special about it at all. Price was a bit expensive for its serving and quality.
