The food is amazing! They have successfully captured the flavor of Indian cuisine. It is hard to find a good Indian place in Manila and fortunately this fits the bill. Definitely coming back soon.

This was a worst experience. I came with my wife here to get some late night snacks and order Chili chicken and Tandoori Chicken. Orders was served on time but whatever was served was in very bad shape. Manager confirmed that chicken used for tandoori was a frozen chicken, it was not even correctly marinated, and they end up serving us not cooked, dry and super sad tandoori chicken. They served 4 pieces, very small size ( I was kinda feeling that it’s overpriced for such a small quantity). Finally it was a disaster, we sent it back to the kitchen. As per Manager, no Indian chef was on duty so we decided to cancel the order itself. 2nd order was chili chicken, I guess chef or running chef doesn’t even know the difference between Chili chicken vs Chicken Manchurian. They served us chicken in Manchurian Gravy even though we ordered dry. It was again a disaster since it was too salty to eat. My wife I decided to just to just pay and get out of this restaurant as we were too much disappointed.Would never recommend this to anyone. Don’t waste your money here. Try queens Bollywood in Greenbelt 3 where they serve Tandoori chicken from Hot Tandoor. New Bombay even uses colors on Tandoori Chicken. Worst ever experience ... can’t get out of my head.

If you love curry and Indian food, New Bombay Royale is the right place for you. The restaurant interiors and design will transport you (real quick) to India. Aside from Indian cuisines, other dishes are also available. I love the mango and watermelon shake :).

If I were to rate New Bombay Royale a year or a couple of years ago, I would have rated them 5 stars. They used to have good authentic Indian food. When we dined at New Bombay Royale last year, we were able to chat with the chef. He was Indian! No wonder why the food was good. Then we tried this place again last night, it was an awful experience. The naan was burnt and crunchy, my food wasn't spicy, the curry wasn't creamy. No more authentic Indian cuisine. I asked the waiter if they have a new chef, and sure enough they do. And apparently the new chef doesn't know so much about Indian cuisine. So disappointed. 🙁
