First, I have so much love for plain milk ice cream. Second, this store has exceeded every bit of my expectations. Pricey yet worth all of your bucks! You better try it now or be sad forever!

My first time in milk cow, I tried it in eastwood. Back then, I thought it was a bit overpriced for its taste.Now... It still is. Though this time, my choice seems to be better as I just made my own with nutella and marshmallow (i love smores hehe), plus added cheese (experimental but I have faith and I really like cheese). The snow cone seems like a good idea (because I like the cotton candy and sea salt), but no, not really. The jelly beans was like hard rock candies that stick in between my teeth and palate and gums. Really hard to it, I did thought about just removing them and just try to enjoy the salted milky ice cream.

A bit pricey for a small amount of soft serve ice cream given. Taste varies depends on the flavor you choose so better choose wisely. It has a unique flavors to choose from and also the presentation on how it is served.

My friend and I went here for our dessert last night. She had the milky honey and I had this matcha crunch. While I would say that my expectation, in terms of taste, of sundae + matcha powder + rice crispies was met, I still think that this is a little overpriced. I can barely notice the difference between the sundae here vs the sundae on fastfood chains.3/5 :)

5/22/2016After lunch, we made a quick stroll to another highly touted and "noisy" dessert place. Boyfie and I made a deal to meet halfway in terms of the flavor to order. Cheesy Berry (Php150) it is! We did not quite like the cheese cubes as it was too salty for us. I would've probably preferred the cheese being part of the batter. Plus, when the cup was handed to us, the boyfie stared at it for a good 3 seconds, probably appalled by how small it is for the price. Dunno if we'll be doing another visit anytime soon to try the other flavors.

After a heavy meal, I always look forward to a great, sweet dessert. As we walk through the streets of Burgos Circle, I saw Milkcow and I knew they serve sweet things. At first, I thought they were selling milkshakes, but as I walked in, I found out the were serving ice cream! The place was not that big, but it was spacious enough and very lit. The countertop was very artsy and you can see their other products like macarons, honeycomb, etc. We went here at around 9pm so we couldn't really determine if the display was complete because it was late. The menu was really interesting, it sounded really yummy. We've ordered Cheesy berry and Mango Tree (which is my favorite), plus a FREE plain soft-served, the Milky Way, when you get to purchase a worth of 300 pesos. As I tried the Mango Tree, it was bursting with fruity, creamy flavor! The cotton candy on top of it was a thing, but the combination of the green and ripe mangoes were great. You cannot really say that "it was just an ice cream mixed with other ingredients" and that's it-- NO! It really tasted like it was a different thing. The Cheesy Berry was also a hit. The strawberry syrup was authentic, and the chunks of cheese will make you feel the contrast of their flavors. The prices were a bit high for a small cup, but it was just enough because the taste will compensate! Over-all I really enjoyed this, great for friends that have a taste on soft-served ice cream!

It seems like a lot of Filipinos nowadays are developing a palate for 'premium' delicacies. Trends such as premium ice cream, specialty coffee and tea, artisan cookies, french maracons, and a whole lot more have been hitting the Philippine food scene. Recently, premium soft serve ice cream led by Korean dessert shops Milk Cow and Honey Creme, have been trying to gain steam.I finally had the opportunity to try Milk Cow's premium soft serve ice cream and here's what you should expect from this Korean dessert store.

The soft ice cream served at Milk Cow is really creamy and milky. The taste is not just the typical type of sweet. I really liked the baileys macaron. When we went here, we were served a free cup of ice cream. I was really pleased then before I saw similar posts on instagram where their cups were filled to the top whereas ours were served in small sizes. Nevertheless, I liked the taste of Milk Cow. The price well competes with other dessert shops. The place is clean and good for chat with friends.

Macaroon was great and reasonably priced. Milk shake was good too! Only thing is for the Caramel MilkShake. It was super sweet that one sip can make you feel your blood sugar will shoot up!
