MESA is known for its Pinoy food recipes and will celebrate its 10th year anniversary this 2019. With current 50 operating outlet, MESA is visioned to accelerate the number to 100 store nationwide and overseas in 3 years span or by 2021. "Through this collaboration with Dingdong and his team, MESA will be institutionalized as your go-to Filipino restaurant serving you authentic classic flavors served with a modern twist", added by COO of website Global Concept Eric Dee.The following dishes are highly recommended:MESA Salted Egg ShrimpBaby Squid in Olive oilMESA Braised beefMESA Crispy fried Leche flan for dessertMESA Crispchon

Mesa opened it's doors to Filipinos exactly 10 years ago. Beaming with pride of giving modern yet authentic pinoy Food Classics to the country and eventually to the world, Mesa owners Mr. Rikki and Eric Dee proudly introduced Mr. Dingdong Dantes as Mesa's first Brand Ambassador. They are confident that this move will help them reach their goal #MESARoadto100 campaign.I cannot wait to see Mesa stand-alone stores everywhere I go. A must try dishes include Crispchon or suckling pig in a one size bite and wrapped.Baby squid in Olive Oil a best seller with sliced garlic. Sarap with Rice!Shrimp in Salted Egg is totally savory and flavorful.Tinapa Rice is perfect to any Mesa's viands. Buhaghag rice just how I wanted my Fried rice.Lastly Laing two ways, an all time Pinoy fave Classic with crispy adobo flakes on top.All mentioned are definitely loved by Pinoys like me. MESA Filipino Moderne had a grand celebration recently of two very important occasions: 1) it's their 10th year in the food industry and 2) the embracing of Dingdong Dantes as part of their family! The celebration was marked by glorious food served buffet style: Tinapa Lumpia, Tinapa Rice, Shrimp in Salted Egg, Laing, everyone's favorite, Baby Squid and the star of the spread, Cripschon (served two ways) and as meal ender, Leche Flan Turon which had people still munching way after the last main was served.I likened the event to a fiesta that overflowed with food and drinks. Well, why not? MESA is embracing it's 11th year with a mission and that is to open its 100th store by 2020 thus the hashtag, #roadto100. And secondly, the brand welcomed Mr. Dingdong Dantes as it's ambassador. That young, good-looking, wholesome family man who, in every way, a MESA Man. Congratulations.

I was fortunate to be part of last month’s food event for the launching of Mesa’s newest brand ambassador, Ding Dong Dantes. It was held in SM Aura Premier’s The Food Hall (just a few steps away from Mesa) and we were treated to various Mesa specialties. Even before this event, I have loved Mesa’s food since before. I frequent their Rockwell and Greenbelt branches more and it’s my first time here in SM Aura. I didn’t give a perfect score of 5 (yet) since I’m reserving that for when I go back to dine at the actual restaurant (instead of The Food Hall) and experience their service as a paying customer (and not as an event guest). It’s no surprise (to me! LOL) that I enjoyed the food. My favorites, like before, are the baby squid in olive oil and garlic, laing and crispchon. It was my first time to try the salted egg shrimps and I enjoyed it thoroughly together with the fried rice. The “turon” leche flan is my fave too but since it was served buffet style and cooked ahead of time during the event, it wasn’t hot & crispy anymore but I recommend that you try ordering it and they will serve it freshly fried, it’s my favorite dessert in Mesa.Writing this review at 2am is making me hungry and looking at the photos is making me crave for rice and ulam!!! Will definitely be back at Mesa soon.

The Eatventurers tried out traditional and modern Filipino food at Mesa Moderne Filipino in SM Aura Premier.Mesa literally translate to Filipino word for “table.” They serve innovative Filipino dishes for reasonable price. This is highly recommended for family gatherings. It’s our first time to try their garlic chicken and crispy boneless tilapia and they are both surprisingly good. The garlic chicken is a bit sweet but it its honey garlic glaze coating is just delicious and unforgettable. The crispy boneless tilapia, on the other hand, comes with four sauces that fits to every tastebud cravings. We also tried the karekare beef ox tripe which is affordable compared fo other Filipino restaurants considering its big serving. The Eatventurers
