Amazing in service, presentation and taste.If you like grilled cheese sandwiches and even hand-made pasta dishes, this is a must-try. The serving is really generous! The taste is very rich as well. Not too salty or sweet, just naturally awesome.The staff are very welcoming and attentive. They'd refill your water without you asking. They're one of those restaurants that really look after their customers, and this really matters to me and my people.Ambiance is also great. The industrial interior style really encourages you to be productive. I was actually able to read a few chapters from my book without getting distracted! Cozy and nice lighting.Will absolutely go back again!

Good place to eat before watching a move in Uptown. I enjoyed the buff grilled cheese sandwich, mac and cheese bars, and the parma salad. The pumpkin soup was a bit too sweet and the natural sweetness of pumpkin was completely overshadowed.Food is rich and heavy - definitely an occasional treat.

I really had no expectations from Melt because the thought of so much cheese is just umay. I got to the restaurant and I immediately noticed the rather dim lighting inside, which was why I chose to sit outside for natural light (#doitforthegram). I ordered the Bacon Mac & Grilled Cheese. When it was brought to my table, I was really really really amazed at how good it looked. The plating was on point! The cross section featured the mix of cheese with some parts of macaroni and bacon sticking out. OK, first bite: I noticed the nice complement of flavors-- salty bacon, creamy macaroni and the balanced array of cheese.Second bite: I tried it with maple syrup. It was intriguing because I don't really see myself eating maple syrup with anything but pancakes. But wow, I was so surprised! It tasted so much better because it contributed to the balance of flavors.Third bite: I love garlic ranch, but they just had aioli. It doesn't come with the dish but I asked to get some of it. I liked it as well because anything garlicky is just good (for me).Overall, I really enjoyed my meal. I didn't finish the whole thing because it was quite heavy and massive. The service was really good too! I even enjoyed a complimentary dessert.
