A bit on the pricey side, we ordered wagyu. Having said that would assume thats the regular price for a wagyu meal. Service was nice, waiter explained what cuts or what is the difference between the steak. Ambiance was nice if want to take your significant other to a meal. Would i recommend, sure. I think the recommended price range for two in website is a bit off. Should be around 3000 per person.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner here and the steak are amazing!  The 5 course menu was well prepared and served.  I personally loved the asparagus soup and the wagyu steak that was  done to perfection!  The variety of wine available is good and happy to see and buy a New Zealand wine when availabe :)

My first try of Melo’s steak was in Greenbelt makati and i really loved their steak. And when I tried it again but at this branch I am very satisfied because of the consistency and quality of the beef. Will be my one of my go to steak places in BGC aside from wolfgang and raging bull steakhouse. Overall, really happy with my meal here.

I only ever take the time to write down a review if the restaurant really deserves it. Slowest service ever. Waited for more than an hour for our food, and it also took them an hour to serve the soup. Guests that came in after us for their food served first. And every time we would ask where our food was, the servers would just say they’ll double check - but no updates afterwards. Waited so long for mediocre food. Not going back here again.

I’ve always read that Melo’s is one of the best places to get your fix of grilled slabs of marbled (I hope) meat. The anticipation all these years have created a hype that snowballed into a build up that eventually lead to a decent but unspectacular dining experience. If you asked me if I enjoyed the meal I would say it was decent, but the hype I guess made it a pedestrian and ordinary. I ordered their Australian wagyu steak with lobster tail on top, sounds like the best surf and turf pairing right? Only on paper it did. The slab of meat didn’t have the marbling I expected (had to adjust since it’s Aussie and not Jap wagyu) it was a little soggy to be honest. The lobster though was tough and I guess a little overcooked. This would’ve been a pairing for the ages but fell flat.
