We reserved seats for 30 persons for my Lola's 89th birthday and the preparations was horrible! The sinigang na hipon was served after our desserts! Kaya tinake out nalang! Which is very disappointing and The manager on duty was very Rude. We did not pay 22k for a horrible treatment. Pati lumpiang shanghai sunog! Nakakahiya sa mga bisita namin! Nakakabwisit hanggang ngayon hindi pa din ako makamove on sa sobrang inis ko. Huwag na kayong magbalak na magpabook dito pag madamihan kasi hindi sila marunong maghandle. Waste of money lang! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Happy fried chicken day! Head over to Max for their unlimited fried chicken promo for only 249. Classic max fried chicken with crispy skin and soft tender chicken meat. Best with banana ketchup.

I'm not really here to review the food. I've been to Max's countless times and I love their sizzling sisig and chicken (leg and thigh part). Other dishes also great such as the Kare-Kare, I just don't order them frequently but what I would want to highlight is the branch in Market-Market. The branch is quite messy and you can barely feel the AC. The table stinks and there were a lot of FLY flying around which is very disturbing! Maybe I was on a bad timing but if you opt to eat on market-market skip this if you don't want to dine on a quite messy resto. After all, you're not paying a fast fast food rate. There are other branch of Max's in BGC.P.S. Since the branch was packed, the service was really slow. They said 10-15 min but the food came almost 30 min and I had to follow-up.

We took the advantage of buy 1 take 1 chicken sisig via the Booky app. Plating was nice but taste was bland. I tried everything to give it a taste by adding ketchup, soy sauce and hot sauce. We ordered fresh lumpia on the side. Staffs were attentive and friendly. Just your typical Max's restaurant.

Dined here on a Sunday evening. Ordered the set family meal that comes with a whole regular chicken, bulalo, spring rolls and dessert. Yes it also comes with a bowl of rice and 4 iced teas.Food well prepared and freshly cooked. Staff attentive and courteous. Its my first to dine here again after they did the renovation, looks good, but made the place a bit cramped.

It's ny first time to eat at Max's to be honest and the experience was okay. Although the staff was getting annoying, their customer service was kinda off and not really homey. Kinda aggressive at that.

A perfect place to go if you are on a budget but still like to eat in restaurants. They serve great Filipino food. Their fresh lumpia is highly recommended and if you ever want a full meal I suggest you order their Fiesta Platter, it is very budget-friendly but it sure would leave you with a full stomach.

Ever since tasting their sizzling tofu when we dined there, I've been hooked!I've undergone a phase, where I would only eat this, order it for take out straight away, and eat it for dinner at home, because it was this good.Always a good place to bring family when celebrating a special event like a birthday or parent's anniversary.

It's amazing how Max's Restaurant serves Filipino dishes since 1945. In my younger years, I would always eat here because the food was always satisfyingly good. Now that a few years have passed, the quality and quantity of some dishes have sadly changed. My family and I ordered Max's half regular Fried Chicken, Seafood Lomi, Sizzling tofu, Oriental Beef with Mushrooms and Sinigang na Tiyan ng Bangus. It's sad how much their Fried chicken's size has changed. The serving used to be so much more, now it's really small :( For the taste of the chicken, it was really dry and bland. This used to be my favorite dish to order at Max's but not anymore. However, I still love the Camote fries at the side. For their Seafood Lomi, flavors were present, and serving is still a lot. For their Sizzling Tofu, the tofu itself were nicely cooked and seasoned perfectly. It's great how there wasn't too much mayonnaise coated around the tofu so it won't give it that "umay" feeling. The chopped bell peppers were a good compliment to dish. This is definitely my new favorite dish in Max's. For their Oriental Beef with Mushrooms, the serving of beef was lacking. It was more like Oriental Mushrooms with Mushrooms. There were generous amounts of Mushrooms but little presence of beef. Wasn't worth what we paid for. However, flavor was good. Lastly, their Sinigang na Tiyan ng Bangus. The Sinigang broth itself was sour but I wish it was more sour. I love Sinigang that's super sour. The fish was a bit over cooked. It tasted ordinary, nothing really special. Overall, the food here was okay. I just wish Max's Restaurant would maintain their good quality and big quantity of their dishes. They should also improve service since it was really slow when we ordered here at Max's. Hopefully in their later years, they wouldn't change too much and hopefully they would keep the same recipes and ideas.

their new rice toppings are good (says the carnivores i was with). i got me the pinakbet w/ rice so i wouldnt be outta place for lunch and snacking on just lomi would be weird for noon time - while people had rice, now that's note fair, hehehe. i think they should also have a pinakbet rice toppings because the platter i order was just good for me, hehehe again (ps: i gave the pork portions of the pinakbet to my party, as well as the okra) the crispy pata rice w/ that complementinf atchara was the better of the two rice topping dishes because of the flavor and the portions of meat - the kare kare was okay, but if youre not eating tummy linings, then you might feel (just) a lil bit of a deficit w/ paying 199php. the meal comes w/ a glass of pepsi and the service was warm and welcoming. the resto space was just small, for crowds who grew up to max's doesnt seem to mind the wait time for seating as long as they get their 'sarap to the bones' experience.
