Came here for breakfast, had the chicken longanisa eggs and garlic rice. Yuck. Utterly flavorless and lacking in any personality. It was airline food. Maybe the other dishes are better but don't try this one, it's a waste of calories.

Food was consistent, but the service in this branch was horrible. It took over an hour to get some dishes out as some of my companions were already finished eating when one of the plates arrived. The staff seems like they're undermanned, with everyone scrambling. Service definitely needs to improve! Food Quality: 3.5Service Quality: 1.5Ambiance: 3.0Overall Quality: 3.0Cheers,Chef Jay

..meh rating not because of the food but because of the appalling and irritating service a waiter has shown. we called in to advise of a forecasted 12pax table reservation for lunch, ended up that the final head count was 14pax so i asked the waiter to 'please' get another placemat and utensils for just one more and his response was ' bakit, ilan po ba?!' with that smug on face that i'd like to wipe off with a FLAIL! so i returned the bitchiness by saying 'i just need one, IS THERE A PROBLEM?!' he turned to get my request but he did NOT seem happy to serve it, AT ALL! he should not be in customer service if he cannot at least do good w/ his job.

We ordered pork adobo and regular half chicken. The pork adobo was served late after we reminded the waiter that we still had pending order of adobo. The waiter said that it takes time to cook the adobo hence it took them a long time to prepare it, we were about to finish eating by then. The kangkong that came with it was cold, really cold as if it came out of the fridge. The meat of the pork was not fresh and the texture felt like it was kept frozen and reheated haphazardly. We called the waiter's attention and he claimed that that was the way it was served.

Our server was Mau. He is a nice guy. We ordered their all day breakfast meal, namely the chicken longganisa and the cheese and corn beef omelette. We didn’t think they were good at all. The coffee was, well, we didn’t drink the coffee at all. Mau asked us how the food was, and we had to be honest. It was meh. We will definitely be back, but will not order that again.

This is my favorite Max's Restaurant branch because it is less crowded,  quieter, and cleaner. They have polite waiters, too. Their famous fried chicken is really sarap-to-the-bone. Just add a bit of banana ketchup to it. We always have the pancit canton, fresh lumpiang ubod, and bottomless sago't gulaman.

Good old, reliable Max's!When tired of our regular cafeteria food or when we want something special to eat, we would usually head out to Max's. I'm not so much of a chicken fan but I love their fried chicken -- skin is cooked just right while the meat is not to oily/fatty. They have a way of seasoning and cooking their chicken so that it comes out really flavorful and not needing much sauces or gravy. Max's chicken is, in fact, best eaten with banana ketchup only to enhance the taste a bit while keeping its flavors intact. Worth trying also are Max's kare-kare and crispy pata, both of which are, as people say, sinfully good. Plus, they have comfortable seats!

No doubt, I'm a big fan of Max's. The visit to this branch this time was quite disappointing. Tofu con Lechon was dull when served and I had to tell the service crew that something was wrong with how they served it. They brought it back 'correctly dressed' but the tofu and 'lechon' was nowhere close to the usual well-fried dish. Then came the all-day breakfast bangus dish - sunny side up egg not done well. My wife's pancit luglug did not taste as usual and the noodles, broken. The place was full but, as I always say, during tough times, this is when you see how truly good one is; in this case, this restaurant - - - but not this time for this branch of Max's. Watch out! ...especially when you see the restaurant packed or starting to get packed with people. To Max's, franchised or not, consistency is key... Sorry, with us coming in hungry and looking forward to the usual satisfying meal at Max's, this certainly changed quite a bit of our interest. Note: this is not the branch at Bonifacio Stopover.

Max's is a usual go-to restaurant when I crave for fried chicken, that's relatively cost-efficient. Did you know though that they also serve budget-friendly clubhouse sandwich? 😊Had this sandwich one dinner time, while my friend ordered their Budget Meal. This meal consisted of a perfectly cooked quarter of a chicken, macaroni salad, rice, a caramel bar for dessert, plus iced tea. Very filling, and not bad for around PHP200. Service was just fine--not too personal, not cold either. This branch is not one of the best, but overall experience was satisfactory enough.

It was our first time to dine here and we were glad that it was open for 24 hours. Service was good despite the late hours (we dined past midnight already). Fresh and Fried Lumpia were great. Soup of the day which was Beef Cabbage was a bit more watery than usual and a bit sour because of the cabbage so I was not happy but the hubby was ok with it so he finished it up for me instead.Chicken Sisig has more celery and onions but amazingly, for someone (me) who’s not a fan of both onions and celery, the mixture went so well with the mayo, chicken and chicken liver. Crispy Pata was great, I could go without the garlic bits though.
