We arrived late on a Saturday afternoon and the usual rush was over - the restaurant was about 30% busy, but despite that they hustled all the diners close together so while there was a large area of empty tables, we were all sitting cheek to jowl.As a semi regular diner at Manam in Greenbelt, I was expecting a bit of a wait for the food to arrive, but it all came very quickly, which made me a bit suspicious. Those suspicions were confirmed on tasting when it ranged from luke warm (the crispy sisig) to room and (adobong kangkong). The bicol express belly was in the middle of the two. While the food tasted acceptable, I cannot get over the feeling that this was sitting around after the lunchtime rush, and that we helped the chef offload some excess food he had prepared previously. Disappointed.

The staff r friendly and work hard ... Unfortunately the Watermelon sinigang and Sisig both were too salty.... I dunno if its supposed to taste so salty coz local tastes r unsophisticated but it's ruined Manam's rep 4 me to not return.... If this is how popular filipino food is done, it's a very sad commentary on the level of local food...sorry 2 say ..

OMG! Delicious comfort filipino food with a modern twist! Manam was a delicious meal that my family and I enjoyed very much. The crispy sisig was amazing paired with garlic rice with an ube sago shake to wash it all down. The watermelon sinigang was an interesting choice. I was skeptical of the watermelon, but it created a well balanced sinigang dish. Definitely will be coming back.
