We arrived late on a Saturday afternoon and the usual rush was over - the restaurant was about 30% busy, but despite that they hustled all the diners close together so while there was a large area of empty tables, we were all sitting cheek to jowl.As a semi regular diner at Manam in Greenbelt, I was expecting a bit of a wait for the food to arrive, but it all came very quickly, which made me a bit suspicious. Those suspicions were confirmed on tasting when it ranged from luke warm (the crispy sisig) to room and (adobong kangkong). The bicol express belly was in the middle of the two. While the food tasted acceptable, I cannot get over the feeling that this was sitting around after the lunchtime rush, and that we helped the chef offload some excess food he had prepared previously. Disappointed.

The staff r friendly and work hard ... Unfortunately the Watermelon sinigang and Sisig both were too salty.... I dunno if its supposed to taste so salty coz local tastes r unsophisticated but it's ruined Manam's rep 4 me to not return.... If this is how popular filipino food is done, it's a very sad commentary on the level of local food...sorry 2 say ..

OMG! Delicious comfort filipino food with a modern twist! Manam was a delicious meal that my family and I enjoyed very much. The crispy sisig was amazing paired with garlic rice with an ube sago shake to wash it all down. The watermelon sinigang was an interesting choice. I was skeptical of the watermelon, but it created a well balanced sinigang dish. Definitely will be coming back.

02/27/2020 I created an account just to give my first (and probably the last) experience going to this restaurant. My colleagues from work planned to visit this place for lunch. We are a group of 8 persons, but was held up in a meeting so we decided to send the three of us ahead to reserve tables and order in advance for us. They arrived past 11 am and waited outside, even there's lots of vacant tables inside. We arrived there past 11:40 am, they were still outside and was just told by the receptionist that they need to have at least 6 persons before can be seated outside. We are expecting for them to be seated and already have food, but they're still in queue. It's hot outside and people were hungry, then this is the kind of service? The lady in charge of reception was neither accommodating nor proactive in assisting the guests. The supervisor only went outside when there's already a huge queue and things seemed busy. We asked the supervisor why do they need 6 persons to be present and can't have the people present be seated and order ahead. Answered in a quite rude manner, he insisted their policy that 6 persons need to be there before they can be seated, which doesn't make any sense. He didn't even apologized for making our colleagues wait long outside before telling anything, had a smug face and just went back inside. We lost our interest and have been really annoyed with our experience, went to eat somewhere else. Nobody will care how good is your food if the customer service from the start was REALLY AWFUL.

The house crispy sisig is good but I go here primarily for the Ube shake (ube at sago) without the sago because this is the only place nearby where we stay that I know serves it. I also like how bright and relaxing the ambience is (not during peak hours) because of the interior and lighting.
