As I stepped inside the restaurant, I can't help but stand in awe as how pretty the place was. It has a tasteful interior which any girl would instantly gush for. We were greeted by Operations Manager and happily toured us around the place. One glance at the menu, their prices were a bit hefty, so my expectations of the food is a bit high as well. We tried their degustation menu which does not feel like your normal french cuisine degustation as the portion sizes were enough to fill a hungry website. Overall, Le Jardin did not disappoint. The place was magnificent. They have a good selection of wines, all food are prepared fresh and at an ample serving size, which is surprising. Don't let the price tag scare you for you'll be paying for an overall experience. I wish I could have worn a pretty summer dress to match the whole experience.Check out the portions of their dishes and you be the judge if Le Jardin is worth dining in (coz they sure are!), more pictures and description of their dishes on my blog..

A very special restaurant for intimate celebrations located at the penthouse of W building at Bgc. If you like french food, this place won't disappoint. Authentic french it is.! The seared scallop appetizer is cooked and seasoned to perfection. The beef cheek with foie gras is so tender and pairs best the Foie. Sweet endings are as awesome as the entrees. The raspberry sorbet with vanilla bean ice cream on berries and nougatine ends our meal with a blast. Will definitely return soon :) Salute to the team behind this great french restaurant!

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm in the minority here of those who were disappointed. The appetizers were great, a couple of scallops with truffled mash potatoes, but the main course didn't offer much, in my opinion, and it was cooked to medium rather than my requested medium-rare. My experience didn't justify the 2.8k price tag.

The beef cheek is not available, and we were not informed. That was on my mind for ordering when I get there, hhhmmmn, but 'no'. Food is pricey, and it could step up to that value point. We ate lunch time, not sure if eating at night would make a difference. The skyline would be a visual treat at night I presume. Cheese selection is good, dessert is more picturesque than gustatory. I'd say is okay though. The lamb seems lacking in robustness of flavor, the pork doesn't scream exceptional.

Located in a penthouse level, Le Jardin is a good place to celebrate occassions or simply to indulge in fine french cuisine with lofty views of the city. The amuse bouche of truffled egg was divine, as well as the foie gras three ways was sinful. Highlight for me was the classic Escargot de bourgogne, rich, buttery and delicious. The seared scallops with mash, the braised beef cheeks with foie gras and the swordfish with red wine reduction was also good.In between, courses of sorbet and cheese platter are served. Try the tartetatin or the fondant aux choclat to cap off the meal. Tip: book a table by the windows with a glass of your favorite wine while enjoying the dishes. Delicieux!

We enjoyed the food here when we went here to celebrate my friend's birthday last Friday. I ordered the 4-course meal which included 2 appetizers, 1 main course, a cheese platter with Melba toasts and dessert.I ordered the 3-way foie gras and lobster with blood sausage for the appetizers. The lobster with blood sausage good but the 3-way foie gras was better. I had the lamb sausage for the main course. They used tenderloin for the lamb sausage which made it tasty. I don't think I'm a fan of the crunchy crust of the sausage though. I'd still prefer my lamb tenderloin grilled. Nevertheless, it was still good. The beef cheeks that my friend had was definitely tastier and more interesting. The meat was tender and flavorful. The foie gras that went with it boosted the meat's flavor even more. Loved their desserts and breads :)It was also sweet of them to surprise my friend with a slice of birthday cake :D

Food taste was just satisfactory BUT the splendid city view, the charming French garden inspired interiors, the relaxing French background music, and the friendly and kind service of the wait staff are worth coming back for! Tres bien!

"They have a nice menu, but then as per European standards it will never survive in Europe with its wannabe French dishes." Going through the menu, we decided to have venison, only to be informed it is not available. My Swedish-French husband was disappointed with the Côte de Bœuf grilled half medium raw and half medium. We built up an appetite for this dinner date, only to be served with what could have been a scrumptious meal. We gave up and didn't finish Côte de Bœuf , but politely declined. Our experience is enough to speak for itself. The Château Haut-Sarpe St-Emilion Grand Cru Classé 2008 we paired with our meal was good enough to bring us back to being cheery on our dinner date. "For $100 per bottle, the wine should be good, which it is." Overall experience: 2.5; Price compared to execution :2.5 ;Taste 2.5; Ambience and staff 3.0. It's disappointing that the restaurant didn't meet our expectation. The staff were nice and polite to offer house recommendation on the menu. That was a nice gesture, however it was a bit embarrassing when he stuttered and gawked when asked, "Parlez-vous français?", a common phrase all staff working for a French restaurant should be familiar with.

A very fancy place, this place is located at BGC area, inside the building, I think we are on the penthouse of W building.  I actually didn’t notice if they have signage outside, I just went here to meet my auntie. I am just wearing jeans and tshirt, I am really not aware that this is like fancy place, really! Perfect for like dating couple, I actually went here for lunch, they have very nice view outside, I can imagine if it’s like dinner time, very romantic and fancyI actually don’t know what to order, but my auntie ordered my tuna, gosh! Super good! I swear melts in my mouth. I like the flavour! Very rich! With regards to the price, I think it’s expensive, I think we paid like 5,000 I am not really sure though, but with their plating and ambiance, I think its worth it.

Put it this way... I ate at this restaurant on Saturday AND Sunday, I intended to go on Monday however, the whole place was booked for a private corporate dinner so unfortunately, I had to eat elsewhere... Today is Tuesday and I intend to eat there again in just a few moments... So why am I returning to the same restaurant 3 times in the same week? I'll tell you why... THE FOOD IS AMAZING! Seriously, I've lived in Manila for 4 years and ive eaten at every top restaurant in town... believe me - THIS IS, UNDOUBTEDLY, MANILA'S BEST RESTAURANT.Do this - enter the restaurant, sit near the window and order the Tuna 3 ways as you're first cold appetiser. Follow with Le Jardin's take on a lamb lasagne for your hot appetiser.Order the braised beef cheek for your main course.Finish with a Fondont au chocolat for dessert. As you eat this ridiculously good food, you can expect the following words to come out your mouth..."Oh my lord!""My god, this is amazing!" or if you're partial to colourful language like myself -"F*#k Me this is brilliant!" The meat is tender and perfectly seasoned. The vegetables are perfectly cooked to the optimum texture. The ingredients are as fresh as fresh can be.Every sauce/jus/garnish is rich and full of flavour.Every plate is served with love and passion, artistically presented and perfectly balanced. For maximum enjoyment, take a tribe of 10, spend an hour and a half eating the best food money can buy and then spend the next three hours drinking your way through the wine list.Pay your bill, tip generously, high five the waiter. Repeat this process at least once a week.Thank me later.
