Their desserts are the bomb. I have tried the strawberry torte, mango sansrival, chocolate obsession, turtle pie, white macadamia brittle cheesecake and plaisir sucre. For meals, try their adobo flakes and spinach triangles.

Mom and I love to try new restaurants around the metro, thanks to KrisTV we got the chance to stretch our dining area to BGC and try this restaurant they featured one time. Located at the 31st Ave of BGC, Kitchen's Best wasn't that hard to look for since we got to ride a cab so we're being dropped off in front of the resto itself. At first you'll think the place is just small but once inside, the place is very big. You'll be greeted with selection of cakes and desserts and a dainty vibe around the area. Red chairs like royal paired with white tables and glass chandelier adding a royalty feel to diners is another thing not to miss from Kitchen's Best. Here's what we ordered, as usual, we had the bestsellers: Kitchen's Best House Salad topped with walnut brittle and tuna flakes - i must say that the greens used for this salad tasted really fresh, the tuna flakes amd walnut brittle dida good and surprising combination. 40 Cloves Chicken with roasted potato - Mom ordered this dish because of the potatoes since she's craving it for almost a week. Well, as per Mom, the dish was not spectacular as she expected it to be. It looked like Chicken Adobo but with 3x more oil and garlic. The roasted potato was soft and I like the consistency of the taste. Slow Roasted USDA Beef Belly - I ordered this dish because I wanted something with thick sauce and served with rice, something new to the taste. I love the tenderness of the Beef Belly, the portion of belly and lean meat is balanced and the sauce which tasted like barbecue sauce that is a bit sweeter than the usual. Pasta Gamberetti - This pasta looked like a normal pasta in alfredo sauce but when tasted, you'll have different vibe of it. The sauce was creamy but thick and you can feel that it sticks with the pasta. Caramel Machiatto - Since I'm a certified coffee fan, I decided to order my favorite flavor and when my coffee arrived, I was shocked with how small my coffee cup was. It tasted okay but I think it's too pricey. Blue Raspberry and Rubyred Grapefruit - which tasted like sprite with raspberry and grapefuit flavoring. I love the sweetness and how it gave added taste to the normal sprite drink. Mango Royale and White Chocolate Macadamia Brittle Cheescake - for dessert, Mom and I decided to get separate slice of cake so we could both try something different. I must say that they Mango Royale was heaven on earth slice. I love the sweetness and the layering of the merengue. The Macadamia Brittle tasted good as well. You can taste the White Chocolate in every bite. It gives you the feeling that you're bloated from too much sweetness. Over all, the dining experience was something new. I love the ambiance of the place, the staffs need a little bit more of training, service was a bit slow and there's no waiter assigned in the area where we're seated that time. Shell out cash, so-so for me. Some items are a bit overpriced and overrated. * Price: 4/5* Food 4/5* Service 4/5

I got to try this delightful and quaint patisserie when I was invited to a special bloggers meeting at the Fort. Kitchen's Best Home Patisserie is located at Mckinley Park Residences. We were situated in the function room and though it was a bit tight it made the affair intimate. The vivid and bold interior is opposite from the usual pastel designs of the other cafes and patisseries. Just as the place makes a strong impression so does the food. I got to try an appetizer, main dish and had a dessert and shake. While we were waiting for other bloggers to arrive we had bread and chips with their Spinach Dip.I chose to get the Chicken Pesto Panini because I love Pesto. I was really engrossed in the talk being given so it was awhile before I finally got to try it. The bread had hardened but despite that the flavorful chicken pesto was delicious. I snacked on the fries during the talk.Dessert was definitely the best. II LOVE chocolate and enjoyed this rich and fudgey cake. It was once featured as one of the best dessert and cakes of 2008 in the Manila Bulletin. The mango shake was delicious as well and refreshing.

This is all that I'll say for this selected patisserie, you HAVE to get the purple yam (ube) sansrival. If you don't...I pity you. A lot.

All of their cakes are good! Their cakes are very unique from that of others. These are not the typical cakes that you will have in your daily lives. This is a must try!
