This used to be my fave Korean restaurant but Makchang is love so it now comes second. My favorite food here are Mango Kimbap and Haemul Ramyun. Friendly staff. Good lighting. Worth a visit!

Stopped by for lunch. After being seated we were given menus. When a table was free, we were able to move to a large table to the side with an infant in tow. After ordering we were given side dishes to nibble on.I ordered a watermelon shake which had a nice flavour but it had seeds blended in with it, making it hard to drink.Th food was nice and interesting. The seaweed spring roll and galbi stew were the highlights of the lunch. The flavour of the galbi stew was amazing. The other items like the pork belly and the japchae were also tasty. Really nice place of decent Korean food.

One of the restaurants my family used to go to was Kaya cause my parents were good friends with the owners. At that time you'll get that "sawa" factor when you keep on eating the same thing or cuisine for a time period. Lately, I've been craving the food from restaurants we used to go to. I had an intense craving for Korean beef stew which is my favorite. We were in BGC and got excited when I found out there's Kaya Restaurant at Stopover BGC.Kalbi Jim (Php 295) aka Korean beef stew first dish we ordered. It is not the same, it wasn't as spicy compared to what we were used too. Japchae (Php 270) sweet potato noodles mixed with black mushroom, vegetables and beef and Bulgogi (Php 260) grilled beef marinated sirloin steak tasted the almost same but it wasn't like it used to. Like the meat were thicker before and it wasn't as oily. Fried Rice (Php 160) vegetables, spam and egg fried rice. Don't remember having this a decade ago but i liked the right amount of seasoning for this mixed rice. Godeungo Gui (Php 390) grilled fresh mackerel. My dad requested for this dish since it's one of his favorites from Kaya. He was pretty had pretty happy with it. Bulgogo Dolsot Bibimbap (Php 300) assorted vegetables, egg and beef bulgogi in a hot stone bowl. Wasn't able to try this cause it's my sister's husband who ordered it. I asked the manager if the owner is still the same and he said that this branch was a franchise. So my family and I are planning to visit the original restos in Makati.
