The taste of their ilonggo cuisine is not quite ilonggo. JT's is way better and the taste captures the authentic inasal of bacolod. The taste of their kansi also doesn't taste a bit like the original kansi of Sharyn's or the other kansi houses in Bacolod. Oh well, the ambience here is quite nice anyway, the staff are friendly and now they're open at night... so I'm giving them a 3.

Authentic Filipino cuisine! Dayum but this place had me ordering for another bout of rice. Their sisig and liempo is superb! I love the interior if the place, captures the modern Filipino vibe. Will be back!

Their pork sinigang wasn’t as sour as expected and the pinakbet and crispy pata were just okay. Of everything we ordered, Kanteen’s pork sisig was my favorite. It was neither too oily nor too fatty. Their sorbetes composed of 4 small scoops with a choice of avocado, cheese, or mango. I found the flavors too artificial and too sweet. We tried to order sago’t gulaman but they ran out. It would’ve been the perfect drink for our small Filipino feast.

I give them plus points for the unli- rice and the leche flan which was prepared nicely. The sisig and liempo on the other hand, which was their best seller, was oily but the taste was spot on.

Food here was great!, lechon kawali was as soft as marshmallows and this is not an over exaggeration. Will definitely go back here. Service was good and food was also nice

One of the better filipino restaurants here in BGC. If you want to try something that cant be seen in a usual resto then this is the perfect place!

I think it's solid Illongo food at decent prices. Way better than Mang inasal or Bacolod chicken inasal chains, but not at the sarsa level. But sarsa is steeper in price. I'll come here often. The batchoy hit the spot and the inasal was tasty. The interior is really nice to be in with cool posters and placards. Service was nice and prompt. My #2 spot for illongo cuisine. Heard it is owned by a celeb. Sup playa. What it dew?They have cool late night special set menus that include beer. Maybe next time. I came here after a yoga session alone. Sarap.

We came in at around 9am in the morning, atmosphere was okay. I was saddened to hear their leche flan wasn't available. Their bestseller (Kansi) tastes really good, beef was tender, soup had that nice tangy taste but it wasn't that hot when served. They didn't even offer to heat it up. Lechon kawali, one of my favorites was air-dried well, crisp just right outside and tender in the interior. To sum it up we were satisfied with their meals but not with their service. Wait staff wasn't that friendly.

Kanteen is a very popular lunch and dinner spot amongst people in BGC. Kanteen offers ilonggo cuisine and Bacolod(not so sure). I highly recommend Kansi, Lechon Kawali, Kare-Kare, Bicol Express, Laswa and binagoongan! Rated 5 for this resto!Fast Service, Great staff,Nice ambiance! I just wish they had 2nd floor. A must try place. I always forgot to take the photos of their food because im so excited to eat once the dish arrives. Their fermented raddish is great!
