Dinner was extremely disappointing tonight not because of the food but the wait staff. The restaurant was empty except for my table (for 2) and the next table with one guy who came in after us. There were 5 servers huddled around the bar talking among themselves all facing our direction and no one paid attention when we were trying to call them over. Their inattentiveness was evident the whole of dinner as our glasses went empty multiple times and we had to try to get their attention for refills. This is not the kind of service a restaurant like Hossein should give any of their customers, especially because of how much they charge. We came tonight, like we always do, because the food is great and we’ve always been treated well. I’m writing this review because of how disappointed we were with tonight’s dinner service

A bit pricey but we brought guests from Dubai here and they really loved the food. So I guess that’s points for authenticity. Really good food for real, and will definitely come back!

Amazing place, amazing food, amazing staff, amazing interior design, Everything is perfection. The food really takes you to some places. The best restaurant in the Philippines.

Hossein’s has stood the test of time. It’s been in Serendra since the commercial area opened. We love the buttery stuffed chicken kebab and beef kebab. The roti and curry was sweeter than what I am used to. Overall still I nice place for dinner.

I thought that this place was over priced. Ordered Palak paneer and Chana dhal curry with naan. The paneer (cottage cheese) was sour and tasted like it was old .. the dhal was bad too. Both Palak paneer and dhal had a thick layer of oil floating on it and we had to take out all the oil from both the dishes. It was utterly disappointing to spend 1500 Pesos on such bad food. I heard good things about this place - but it is not true at all. Very very disappointed.

Very disappointing. Ordered tandoori chicken which was totally bland and flavourless. Tasted like it had been marinated in tomato ketchup. The ‘naan bread’ was just a flatbread warmed up. The poppadoms clearly aren’t made fresh and come without any dips unless you ask.Very disappointing given the price. Do not recommend.

Disappointed terribly. Reserved a table for Xmas eve. The appetisers has not even been served when I was told it was the final order!!!. I would have expected to be informed if the restaurant had an early closing when I booked the table. This was at 8:30 PM!Had to rush through with dinner and headed out to dessert elsewhere. Not the best of experience

Busy halloween night in BGC, we had dinner here. Having tried authentic persian food cooked by a friend who’s originally from Iran. I have high expectations, I was like oh jeeze finally some Iranian food again! But beef and chicken kebab was a bit disappointing. Way different from what i tried before. Even the salad shirazi is different. For the price we paid, it was a bit on the expensive side. Anyway, My search for tahdig is still not fruitful. I am yet to find a place here that have it on their menu. I like the fact the server/waiter knows what a tahdig. If anyone here knows where i can find Tahdig, let me know! Another disappointing thing here and i hope the management do something about it is that they have mosquitoes inside! We were seated on one of the “kubol” like at the side. Ironic thing is it feels on that table we have kulambo around but we saw at least three mosquitoes on our area!!!

Not too convinced about the 'Indian credentials' of Hosseins despite them giving indian names to dishes. We had Mango Lassi and Calamansi Soda as our beverages. Lassi was good.Masala Papad and Eggplant Borani were our appetizers. The latter is an interesting and tasty Iranian appetizer of eggplant in yogurt.Chicken Makanwala (Butter Chicken) and Aloo Paneer (potatoes with cottage cheese) were our mains. The chicken was not buttery and creamy, more tomato sauce based, and quite disappointing. The latter came in a good sauce but had very few paneer pieces.

4 🌟 for food taste. I think we enjoyed our food because our orders complement each other. The kebab is delicious, the texture is different with the other kebab I tried before. The rice can be just normal for me, not that special. The chicken (which is the 2nd photo) is really good and a must try. I just forgot the name of each food we ordered.4 🌟 for the ambiance. The interiors are good. What I like about it is that the chandeliers is such a work of art.4 🌟 for service. Polite and attentive staffs.5 🌟 for cleanliness4 🌟 for overall experience
