Nice restaurant In Shangri-La @ The Fort in Manila. Serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Selection of food and drinks is very wide and extensive. Service is awesome. Food taste is good. Many live cooking stations and desserts are awesome. Plenty of seating with nice deco.

I came here mainly for the seafood bucket and it was worth it. Try the sweet and sour sauce to cook your seafood with. The garlic butter and the salt/pepper sauce were quite bland for me. This was my first time eating crawfish(aka big shrimp) and I must say I like shrimp better. The shrimp absorbs more flavour than the crawfish so it was not bland at all. I had to put salt on the crawfish even if it was already sautéed in their sauce. The crabs were ok. I don’t think it was that fresh because the crab fat kinda tasted weird. Anyways, don’t forget to ask for gloves!Aside from the seafood bucket, I love their wide variety of desserts. They have local desserts consisting of biko, cassava and halo halo. They also have home made ice cream! The “burnt rice” ice cream was my favorite. Buko lychee ice cream was just so so. I did not really taste the buko part since the lychee flavouring was overpowering. I love their macarons especially the dulce macaron. As for the meat section, there was lechon, wagyu and peking duck. The wagyu was tender and had that melt-in-your-mouth feature when you eat the fat part. I had mine done in medium rare. The dimsum was kinda disappointing. I was really expecting siomai, dumpling, chicken feet and the like. They only had 3 kinds of dimsum. I like their beef noodle soup though. I enjoyed it even more since it was raining outside and it was a bit cold in our area. One downside is that you can only have water. Coffee, lemon juice and alcoholic drinks are not part of the package. The staff were attentive and cheery. They would refill our water with a smile. I got their loyalty card because I know I would like to come back here again.

My best friend and I love eating so we tried Highstreet Cafe since it’s near my office and of course who doesn’t want buffet? Haha! What I love most here is their seafood area, desserts 😍 and of course their laksa! Also, the interior and vibe is nice since it’s inside Shangri-La hotel. Planning on visiting soon again. 🤗
