Green Pastures is one of my top picks for flavorful yet healthy food. Last I came here, I wanted to get something light for lunch. I got the Farmhouse Salad which was great; the components - romaine lettuce, kale, chicken, eggs, tomatoes, corn, goat cheese, mangoes - together create a tasty and filling dish. The Ultimate F2T Lasagna which my colleague ordered was pretty good too. It's a vegetarian take on your typical, meaty lasagna; the pasta was layered with cheese and mushrooms, and coated in roasted carrot puree. We also shared an order of their Burrata Toast which I highly recommend as a starter. The bread really paired well with the cheese mixed with strawberries, tomatoes, and basil oil.

The vegan options enticed me to check this out with a friend. We got the tuna poke bowl, a cauliflower KFC (their vegetarian KFC version which reminded me more of Bonchon). They were awesome! For the main dish, we got the jackfruit kare kare. He liked it but I thought the peanut sauce was irremarkable. Nonetheless it was a good experience overall as this is a restaurant that caters to my dietary requirements.

My second visit to this place but I'm reviewing it for the first time. This place is extremely expensive and it is out of my league but they allure me with their interesting ingredients and meals. I wouldn't say I go here to enjoy food. I go here to discover new things that exist in the world of food 😬On my first visit 3 months ago I discovered kombucha. Then I started brewing it at home. Now I came here again to compare which one is better, and honestly, although I messed up a lot of batches of my kombucha, I like it more than here. I noticed they add some syrup to it, to make it sweeter, but it was still massim na maasim! I can drink it but I prefer it to be less sour. They have interesting bowls of food. I've tried the poke bowl and the umami bowl. Both are good but they do put a huge dent in your pocket. One thing that I strongly disliked during this visit is that the waiter asked us if we want coconut water or sparkling water. We thought it was a freebie because he only mentioned these two drinks. I said, yeah, why not, but just before he popped a bottle of coconut water we discovered it costs around P200. Sandali lang, kuya! Hindi namin kailangan ang "kabutihan" iyan.
