website Global Concepts, one of Manila's largest multi-brand food group, with over 30 years in the industry, has a new Corporate Executive Chef, Chef Carlo Miguel. With Chef Carlo onboard, he introduced new dishes on the menu as well as some twists from Davide's original recipes, making it more appealing to our Asian palates.

Had a birthday dinner for my significant other here, primarily chose this place and for the wonderful reviews here in website. The food, ambiance, and service was superb and top notch. One thing to note is the waiters are really knowledgeable about the entire menu so if you want a particular taste profile for your entire night you can ask them for their recommendations and they'll be happy to give them to you. I personally went for a heavy, very strong, and hard hitting dinner while she got something more muted and light at first which worked for her but by the time her main dish and dessert came she described the dishes as very "sexy" hahaha particularly the wonderful Dark Chocolate Mousse.Fine dining indeed for a very reasonable price point, we'll definitely be back very soon! Thanks for making our night memorable, FOO'D!

I really like the ambience of FOO’D! The restaurant is not that spacious as expected, but looks like it can accommodate about 50pax. Their menu is limited from choosing either 3-5 dishes. I’ve tried FOO’D’s 4 course menu. I chose scallops for my appetizer, truffle cacio e pepe for main course, chicken & prawn for secondary course, and white tiramisu for my dessert. I also tried fresh orange juice. I enjoyed the chicken & prawn. It was so tasty. The meat of chicken was so good and tender. The prawn was also great! I was able to try the dark chocolate cake which was ordered by my colleague. Surprisingly, it was more delicious than my white tiramisu!

I’m more of a casual dining kind of girl and the concept of fine dining for me is reserved for special occasions and I usually associate the latter for something romantic or done with a significant other. Most times I go and dine out with a group of friends (whether I’m in a relationship or not) so eating in a fine-dining restaurant is rare occurrence.

Foo'd by David Oldani is a terrific date restaurant. The ambiance is superb, the waiters are top-notch, and the food is delicious. I ordered the 6-course set menu that included these dishes:-Cannellini Soup with Prawn-Olive Oil Poached Salmon-Truffle Cacio e Pepe-Halibut with Saffron Potato Veloute and Eggplant Caponata-36 Hour Shortrib with Creamy Polanta and Mushroom Ragout-Dark Chocolate Souffle with Salted Caramel GelatoThe Cannellini Soup was a great start to the meal. It was a bit thick, but the taste wasn't as overpowering as I thought it would be. The prawns tasted a bit bland, but all in all it was good. The Poached Salmon was flavorful. The salmon by itself was nothing special, but the flavors really mix well with the sliced apples on the side. The Truffle Cacio e Pepe is probably one of the best truffle pastas I've eaten here in the Philippines. The flavor was superb. I took my time eating this one.The Halibut was a good contrast to the last course; the taste was mild and welcoming to the palate. The Shortrib is probably my favorite part of this meal. It was delectably soft and juicy, and it really mixes well with the mushroom ragout and the polanta sauce. Might have been better with blue cheese risotto to have been paired with this meal, but this pairing works. The Souffle was wonderful; each element on the plate adds to the experience. All in all, I have no regrets dining here. The place is pricey, but it's worth it.

Fine dining in Manila is as world-class as it can get thanks to Michelin star chef Davide Oldani. We went here for our first year anniversary and tried the 4-course menu, which is about 2k php/pax after service charges. These are just some of the plates we ordered:Antipasti: Iberico Pork and Scallop (Iberico pork secreto, green peas, salsa verde)Primi: Bisque Spaghetti (pasta, shrimp bisque, prawn head butter)Secondi: 36-hour Shortrib (US Angus Prime shortrib, creamy polenta, mushroom ragout)Dolci: Lemon Curd (dehydrated meringue, cacao crumble, curry almond, lettuce gelato)Check out the full review here: hhedonist.com/blog/foo-d-by-davide-oldani

This is a long overdue and Im writting after 2 years from eating here but very memorable. This place is Fancy Business and Date feels. I wanted to eat with my GF somehwere romantic candle-light course meal. I googled and found this place and reservation. I arrived and no one was outside but it seem busy inside so I just waved and they catered me to a table and seat with my GF. A lot of people are there it was around 8pm and mostly Business people in Suits and some Foreigners.Main Menu consists either 3 4 5 course meals of appetizer 1st and 2nd main courses and dessert. They also had wine and names which i never heard costing around 250 a glass but I did not get one since I dont drink on dates.Idk anything about fine dinning or thr food served but what I wanted from the experience was the taste of NEW and Different but exquisite but if you don’t want that experience you better research the food served as some may think that its not good but Instead for me an acquired tasteThey serve water in wine glasses and you opt to choose for sparkling but its just carbonated waterIf you are going for a quick eat i suggest the 3 course meal4 course meal for a good romantic date5 course if you want to talk longer or business meetings or plain hungryBut 5 is the best one to pick in my opinionI forgot some of the names in the picture but from what i cam remeberAPPETIZERSCipolla CaramellataSmoked Duck CarpuccioPRIMARY COURSERiso Marsala - (acquired taste for RISO)Truffle Cacio E PepeSECONDARY COURSEPressed Duck Two WaysBonless Lamb Rack (not sure)DESSERTSDark Chocolate MouseRaspberry Lychee SphereOverall Summary:- Reservation is better than walk-in.- Place is awesome for dates especially if you want to get to know your partner and budget friendly for a fancy kind.- Business meetings is great to do here as well as they had a long table looks like its for 10-15 pax- Waiters are on the spot for your order- Not that cold relaxing cold enough room- Clear view of Cooking area which is awesome.- Fanciest place Ive had ever eaten but also one of the best. - Deserves the Michelin Star and a MUST TRY

The ambiance is lovely but the food was underwhelming, to say the least. Given it was a set six-course meal, the dish choices didn’t exactly put their best foot forward. The Cipolla Caramellata was probably the only interesting dish of the night, showing the contrast between hot & cold, sweet & savory. Though all the other dishes seemed fresh, they lacked flavor & depth, also the serving sizes were a tad too big for a tasting menu. I’d say you get what you pay for but then again I don’t think you really get that much bang for your buck here.
