I've tried the Fat Daddy's in Marikina and because the food was good, decided to there again but in the BGC branch. Its interesting that they are pushing their ribs but it wasnt so soft. i was expecting fall off the bone type but it wasnt. What was good however was their ox tail tacos. it was very flavorful and appealing to the eyes. for dessert we had the smores which i loved. it had bacon on top. TO.DIE.FOR.The staff of Fat Daddys were accommodating and responsive. There was parking available in burgos circle so it wasnt a problem.

Fat Daddy's Smokehouse is all smoke, lacking definitive barbecue flavor to make it stand out.The Baby Back ribs was not fall-off-the-bone tender and needs more barbecue mopping sauce goodness. The pulled pork was ok as well as the beef brisket. The Buttermilk Fried Chicken was not juicy and wasn't fried to golden brown. The cornbread was stale and dry. Anyway, the Mac & Cheese was a favorite of the kids.Their side dishes like the potato salad and mashed potatoes have to reworked.

RIBS in Burgos Circle. Sounds yummy. However, if you are expecting a melt in your mouth ribs, this is not the place to be. It is a little pricey, but the ambience and service are great.

Amazing interiors. Very peaceful. Good food. What more can you ask for?I tried this out because there was a discount through Booky. We ordered the following:1. Beef BrisketThis is really good. It's tender and slow cooked. However, I'd have to say I prefer gravy over barbecure sauce but hey.. it's a place that serves ribs. :) It costs 550 Php with 2 sides already. We got Texas Dirty Rice and Mashed Potato. The rice is super good. Try it!2. Pork RibsI'm not into pork at all but this is pretty okay. It's not fall-of-the-bone but worth a shot. :)We got free desert by reviewing the restaurant through Booky. It was super good! Smores with bacon. :) Do try this too! :)Our server was Joel, he was suuuper accomodating and nice. Service is a 5/5.Will go back here again but since the servings are hugeee, I might just share one order with a friend. xD

The construction of the Fat Daddy's Smokehouse on Burgos Circle took such a long time but when it finally opened, we were a bit underwhelmed with our meal there, so much so that I can remember nothing of it.But that was a year ago and we decided to give them another try today. As we were with our little dog, we sat outside and enjoyed the afternoon ambiance. Service was quick and friendly. We ordered Hot Links sausage with 2 sides (we chose plain rice and chicken macaroni salad) and Dirty Mash, with bottomless iced tea.All was delivered very quickly and looked very appetising. The sausage was large, hearty, solid and rough - a perfect artisan sausage, nicely seasoned and juicy. The dirty mash was cheesy, fluffy, comfort food with a generous serving of pulled pork and bacon. The sides were both perfectly fine - we especially enjoyed the Macaroni salad. If I could offer criticism, the dirty mash was a touch under seasoned, and the mustard a little mild for my taste, but those were minor criticisms at most.I am glad we came back - and it won't be a year till next visit.

Food took 40 minutes to serve. And we were not even warned that it would take this long. Food was not impressive. Please improve your service.

It's just funny how people expect so much the first time they try a certain food at a certain restaurant. It's always mixed reviews, some good and some not so good. But that's the beauty of being able to try their different dishes is that you don't stop at ordering just one, but maybe 2 or 3 dishes just to see what it's like. If you wanna keep comparing one particular food to everything else you've already tried then don't try anything else. Anyway, a friend told me the menu was pricy but it wasn't at all. I had a Smoked Pulled BBQ Pork, a big serving of it (good for 2 actually) and it was below 300 pesos with 2 side dishes of your choice. I liked the Texas dirty rice which didn't really seem special but the flavor was good. My boyfriend had a Hot Daddy's burger and he liked it. We went on a Sunday, lunch, and the service and crew was good too. For now I will rate it a 4 since me and my partner agreed we both enjoyed what we ordered. See if their ribs are good or what people say otherwise. :)

Dining at Fat Daddy's Smokehouse was a high fat, high calorie affair that would make any weight watcher cringe. Generous helpings of mozzarella cheese and bacon in the main dishes and sides made my fat cells jiggle for joy. For starters we got the cheese dip. It was good but an overkill with strips of bacon topped over melting cheese. Burgers were competent and not overly sloppy. Mac and cheese came in a hot skillet with gobs of melting cheese. Again with strips of bacon on top. As for me, I finally got the pulled pork fix I've been craving for. My last attempt for pulled pork was an epic failure at Tipsy Pig. Hooray for Fat Daddy! Your name is indeed your promise.

I ordered the Triple Death Hamburger, it was good, but it was 1.7 deaths at most. Then, when I finished the hamburger, 1.3 deadly ninjas attacked me, but I won. Definitely I'll come back. Triple Death Hamburger is a must.

My brother and I initially planned to eat at another place but, apparently, they are closed on Sundays. It just so happened that Fat Daddy's Smokehouse's sign was so big and bright that night that it immediately caught our attention. Without further deliberation, we decided to just eat here instead.Upon entering, we went straight to the second floor and chose a table at the center of the space. Once handed our menus, I silently prayed that whatever money I had will suffice to feed us both. Since this was an impromptu choice, I wasn't able to inspect the menu beforehand, so I had no concrete basis on what to expect. Thankfully, though, most of the items on their menu were really affordable! My brother ordered their BBQ Chops with Apple and Bacon Jam while I ordered their Smoked Pulled Pork Shoulder, plus an order of Buttermilk Fried Liver for sharing. Our main dishes came with two sides each: his was Texas Dirty Rice and Buttered Veggies while mine was Smoked Chicken Potato Salad and Cranberry Macaroni Salad. My meal was perfect! I really loved that the pulled pork was lean and that the serving was generous. The side dishes were very good as well. My only regret would perhaps be that I did not order rice; it was weird just eating the pulled pork by itself. Still, I loved everything about those dishes! However, I could not give this a perfect rating because my brother seemed to have had trouble cutting through his bbq chops. I've tasted a small portion of it, though, and it was also good. For the fried liver, please do not leave this restaurant without ordering that! I've always liked chicken liver and that appetizer only reminded me more of why I do so.Overall, I don't really know what I was expecting from this restaurant, but whatever, I'm pretty sure the whole experience of dining here surpassed whatever those were.
