I've tried the Fat Daddy's in Marikina and because the food was good, decided to there again but in the BGC branch. Its interesting that they are pushing their ribs but it wasnt so soft. i was expecting fall off the bone type but it wasnt. What was good however was their ox tail tacos. it was very flavorful and appealing to the eyes. for dessert we had the smores which i loved. it had bacon on top. TO.DIE.FOR.The staff of Fat Daddys were accommodating and responsive. There was parking available in burgos circle so it wasnt a problem.

Fat Daddy's Smokehouse is all smoke, lacking definitive barbecue flavor to make it stand out.The Baby Back ribs was not fall-off-the-bone tender and needs more barbecue mopping sauce goodness. The pulled pork was ok as well as the beef brisket. The Buttermilk Fried Chicken was not juicy and wasn't fried to golden brown. The cornbread was stale and dry. Anyway, the Mac & Cheese was a favorite of the kids.Their side dishes like the potato salad and mashed potatoes have to reworked.

RIBS in Burgos Circle. Sounds yummy. However, if you are expecting a melt in your mouth ribs, this is not the place to be. It is a little pricey, but the ambience and service are great.

Amazing interiors. Very peaceful. Good food. What more can you ask for?I tried this out because there was a discount through Booky. We ordered the following:1. Beef BrisketThis is really good. It's tender and slow cooked. However, I'd have to say I prefer gravy over barbecure sauce but hey.. it's a place that serves ribs. :) It costs 550 Php with 2 sides already. We got Texas Dirty Rice and Mashed Potato. The rice is super good. Try it!2. Pork RibsI'm not into pork at all but this is pretty okay. It's not fall-of-the-bone but worth a shot. :)We got free desert by reviewing the restaurant through Booky. It was super good! Smores with bacon. :) Do try this too! :)Our server was Joel, he was suuuper accomodating and nice. Service is a 5/5.Will go back here again but since the servings are hugeee, I might just share one order with a friend. xD

The construction of the Fat Daddy's Smokehouse on Burgos Circle took such a long time but when it finally opened, we were a bit underwhelmed with our meal there, so much so that I can remember nothing of it.But that was a year ago and we decided to give them another try today. As we were with our little dog, we sat outside and enjoyed the afternoon ambiance. Service was quick and friendly. We ordered Hot Links sausage with 2 sides (we chose plain rice and chicken macaroni salad) and Dirty Mash, with bottomless iced tea.All was delivered very quickly and looked very appetising. The sausage was large, hearty, solid and rough - a perfect artisan sausage, nicely seasoned and juicy. The dirty mash was cheesy, fluffy, comfort food with a generous serving of pulled pork and bacon. The sides were both perfectly fine - we especially enjoyed the Macaroni salad. If I could offer criticism, the dirty mash was a touch under seasoned, and the mustard a little mild for my taste, but those were minor criticisms at most.I am glad we came back - and it won't be a year till next visit.
