i usually judge a Chinese restaurant by the quality of their dimsum. if, for example, their siomai or hakaw is subpar then you know that the rest of the items on the menu are leaning towards that same quality. i've tried quite a lot of hakaws in my lifetime but their hakaw here has got to be the best so far. the wrapper of the dumping was firm and did not break apart after biting into it. it has great flavor and you can tell that it was made with a lot of effort. we also tried the steamed fish and yang chow fried rich which was also really good. i can definitely say it's one of the better Chinese restaurants at the Fort area. a bit pricey but worth it if you order the right dish.

This is by far my most favorite restaurant regardless of what cuisines. I love everything about Eat Well, the staff, the ambiance since it really feels like a casual dining, the prices of the food and the foods of course! I so love their pork spareribs, string beans, yangchow and masachi. I also live their chili sauce which is a better thing to gain your appetite more!

As our starter, their Hot & Sour Soup is indeed hot and sour. It has this kick which will surely prepare one for the other dishes. With some bits of carrots, mushroom and egg, this is one flavorful soup.We had their Deep-fried Shrimp & Pork Wonton as an additional appetizer. It wasn’t the golden brown that I was expecting. It may look a little burnt but it’s still good especially with the sauce.Ordering Yang Chow Style Fried Rice seems to be a staple for my family. And today was no exception. At P205, their seemingly overflowing fried rice was worth it. With bits of veggies and pork, it was a good pair to our other food.Their Fried Squid with Spicy Salt  was a bit salty for my taste so you really have to dip it in the vinegar. It was quite soft that I could slice the fried squid. Despite that, it still has this slight crunch to it.This was my fave among the bunch. Their Sweet & Sour Fish Fillet is a must-try in my opinion. I like the fact that they don’t overdo it with the sauce and that it’s not the usual orange kind. The fish fillet had the right crisp to it and the same goes for the bell peppers. Overall, this restaurant does have a “delicious kitchen”. Their portions are meant for sharing, thus, really good for family or friend gatherings. Each dish is fairly priced considering that it’s good for sharing. Their place over at the Fort is a bit small even though they have a 2nd floor. It’s still equally placed and service was fast.

This is one of those places where you would not mind holding a business meeting.Overall, the waiting time and food quality is good. The food is always piping hot which is a huge deal for me.Downside: Poor pest control. Some of the flies who buzz around outside come into the resto itself. I've seen waiters swat these flies on the tables (no disinfectant right after either- the very same tables you and I eat off of each time.)

Are you looking for a simple Chinese food dining experience in the fort? This is the place for you. I gauge a Chinese restaurant on their eggplant with mixed pork in hotpot. For me this is one of their best dishes, the hakaw is my son's favorite, although I find their dumplings to be quite expensive. if you are looking for fancy dining this isn't the place for you.
