The first time I ate at Deli Cieux, I gave a 4 rating. Last night, I was so disappointed with the shrimp pasta. I should have ordered the smoked salmon sandwich which is the reason why I came back. Next time, I'll do that, if I'm still coming back. My partner said he will not come back for the stuffed pork chop. He's not ready for pork that has apple filling. I guess we're traditional people when it comes to our taste in food.

I was disappointed with everything that I had (Clam Chowder Soup and Roast Chicken Sandwich). The soup was acceptable but I was expecting it to be creamier. I could barely finish the sandwich. I don’t like pickles and unfortunately, it was filled with pickles. There was no description on the menu so I had no idea what was on it. The sandwich felt dry too. But if you like pickles, I think it won’t be an issue. My brother liked the soup so he’s the one who finished the bowl. To each his own I guess.

Tis another day of randomly picking a restaurant to try in Venice mall and I ended up with this strange looking sign. I was intimidated at first since the name of the place sounds French which means it is beyond my budget. Deli Cieux, a witty way of saying they guarantee 'delicious' food, offers café favorites from pasta and sandwich items. I went with the familiar Roast Beef sandwich with a side of salad. The side salad came first and felt like portion was too small for a 90 peso add on. The sandwich was served with a side of fries that had some soggy pieces and although that did not deter me from enjoying the Roast beef sandwich. It tasted good and very filling while the fries helped as a salty side dish to combine taste with the sandwich. I was kinda expecting something more delicious as they branded themselves as such. It was a good experience although not superb considering the price point for their sandwich + salad meal, probably the more premium items would deliver to that 'deli cieux' branding.

The food wasn't anything special. Staff was very accommodating though, but overall the experience was just okay. I ordered the Reuben sandwich and the serving size was small for its price.
