Country Style Creamy Hot ChocoIt was my first time to dine in at Country Style because we usually ordered take out breads and donuts. And today, maybe its time for me to order not the typical desserts to munch in but to try their drinks. I only ordered their Hot Choco because I'm to full to order donuts or pastries. The weather was so cold and I think its best to get something that will keep me warm while waiting for my boyfriend. The verdict on Country's Style Hot Choco? Perfect! It was really hot, unlike the other 'hot choco drinks' and it's really creamy and taste like cocoa. It costs me Php 40 to keep me warm and i'd love to get another cup but i haven't finish my first. It doesn't taste instant although at first i was looking for a nearby starbucks or any coffee shop and i ended here...but i am happy to say that the next time i'll pass Country Style, i'd love to get a cup of their Hot Choco, of course this time to pair it with their yummy muffins. xoxo ahye

This is usually one of my go-to places for quick bites when I am at the workplace. I mostly order my food into a to-go bag and quality is not diminished since everything is made/cooked when you order. One of my usual choices here is the sausage, rice and egg combo meal. Quite heavy for some people but this amount sits well with me and finishing it you wouldn't want another helping. I like spice of the sausage but sometimes the egg is a bit dry as the egg yolk doesn't seep out. Another favorite merienda snack I get here is the cheese melt with tuna. It is a nice addition to their menu since everybody likes melted cheese. This makes my stressful day at work bearable as I sift and scan emails while munching on it. It is a good combination of comfort food with a balance of carbs, fats and nice source of protein. If you are working near a Countrystyle try their menu to give you the extra boost of energy/mood for the day.

Country Style is famous for its bagels, sandwiches, donuts and éclairs. People usually buy breakfast here for takeaway.Food is generally cheap and the taste is just average. Sandwiches are okay but bagels tend to be greasy. All of them are freshly prepared / cooked. Brewed coffee is good. This branch at Mckinley Hill is pretty small. There are only two tables inside where one is so close to the door that you can get hit by people entering and exiting. There are seats outside which I'd say are better seats.During my last visit, it was plagued by flies! I think it needs improvement on cleanliness.

The bagels and the sandwiches were the winners here but I also enjoy the Krazy Square Donuts. The texture was moist and the flavor was appropriately light. Nothing that totally wowed me though, and while the flavors were interesting, they were not terribly creative in that context.I think a simple glazed doughnut might have been the better order. I'd come back if a friend was curious, or if there were a really creative new flavor that piqued my interest, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stop back.

Teeny-tiny branch that whenever I visit, regardless of the hour of the day, they never seem to have pastries to sell. Their display window for donuts etc. is always empty except for one or two sad eclairs. I just don't walk in to this branch anymore.
