Pretty good high balls, food is pretty yummy and excellent location in the middle of 5th Ave. I like that they have the Japanese whiskeys! ✅

Good sushi, sashimi, maki.Small place. The same as Izakaya Sensu, they share the same space. We parked in the open paid parking across and walked over to the restaurant which will be difficult when raining or under extremely hot weather. When we tried it, we got a discount via reserving thru the free Eatigo app but they are no longer there, hope they rejoin or come up with similar discounts.Their menu is a combination of affordable and a bit pricey dishes so you can mix & match to fit your budget.

Good place for pretty good and reasonably priced Japanese whisky highballs which compensate for so-so Japanese food. Not bad for an after work drinking spot.

Cocktails are very refreshing especially Sakura. Perfect for someone like me who don’t drink alcohol that much. One of the best chicken karaage i’ve had. And its so cheap at 195. Miso chocolate cake is very interesting. Superb experience. Great value for money. Will definitely comeback. 👌🏻

w/c means ‘wait a moment’ could be to have someone hang on for a sec or better yet make a resto-bar for people to chill for a moment. the latter sounds better and tastes good too. our pre-bday salubong was spent here w/ friends and it was a blast! as for the food, i am now a fan of their yaki-meshi rice, this stir fried rice is packed w/ umami that literal sent my palate to heaven w/ the lovely lullaby of layers of flavors, yuuumeh! pair it w/ the stick tonkatsu and that jap mayo, argh! delish i tell yah. as for the sensu ka-rage, it burned my tongue, boy that sesame covered battered chicken fillet was served off the fryer- juicy, soft and nummy- but hot like celsius hot. another thing id recommend (but lacked to visually appeal) was the burger on a skillet- the food title’s too long, im sorry, but it’s the only one on the menu, this made my eyes pop figuratively because it taster awesome. wouldve preferred if it had the feel of sisig i mean how it looked like, but by golly once it hit my mouth, all i could utter was hmmmmm. as for the beef katsu, it looked pretty, but it was tough. ironically cooked medium well but had the consistensy that of well, well done. the maki’s were okay- sorry ‘coz one was raw so i couldnt help thinking the same of the other when it wasnt, but because it didnt have any soy sauce w/in reach, im like, uh plain. service was kinda slow, given that it was just us inside the a/c area, had to call them in a couple of times but no biggie... oh and i aint sure maybe the forgot about the karage hence we waited for a long while and boom it came out to be the one that’s freshly cooked (just a theory) or maybe that’s how all their fried foods are- but then the katsu sticks did not share the same sentiment.
