BBQ Chicken and Beer is a Korean resto-bar that serves a mix of Korean, Italian, and American dishes (think: Korean version of TGI Friday’s or Chili’s). One can have his or her lunch or dinner, then stay a bit longer for a round (or two) of drinks and cocktails. The TV monitor shows concerts and music videos of famous K-Pop artists (which I am not a big fan of, honestly), while the walls are painted with snippets of American culture. One can order the glazed fried chicken (good for sharing, by the way) which comes in different flavors. I liked the sweet glaze as well as the spicy one (word of caution: it can get fiery!) This dish can either serve as a main course or bar chow, depending on what you plan to do at the restaurant. As for the pastas, some are really good while the spicy ones…again, can get too spicy. The in-house drinks are quite good (I had mojito), but if you’re not up for it you can just order a bottle or a mug of your favorite beer. The prices are quite reasonable, so it’s a good venue to catch up with friends or to wind up another work day with officemates.

If you are the type of person who like a lively Korean atmosphere then I can recommend you to check this place out. Its interior looks like more of a bar than a restaurant. It has got TVs installed which shows Korean MTVs. I can say the food tastes good and its price is not bad as well. We ordered Paris Chicken (as they say its their bestseller) and fried rice. The order was meant for sharing and its great! only criticism I have in this place is that, eventhough theres not much customers in it, still the order takes too long for them to serve. We only have 1 hr lunch and it took atleast 40mins for them to serve the food we ordered. Overall though, their food tastes good and they have a lively atmosphere.

Went here for take-out and I loved the food.Cream Chicken Pasta - creamy Alfredo with chicken and mushroom. Noodles cooked just right. Must-try!Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad - I've had better Caesar salad before. Dressing is a little sour and seems like it came from a bottle.Cheeseling Chicken - new flavor! Loved this one. If you like cheese, then you'll love this, too! Very crispy chicken.

Sadly, aside from the lengthy time it took to have our orders served (despite having few customers at lunch time), the waitresses didn't even get our orders right. The various-flavored chicken dish tasted bland. One flavor even tasted like Kettle Korn popcorn- it was just too sweet. The iced tea is just plain apple juice. I didn't understand the interior design of the resto. A lot of things going on the walls, making a huge disconnect. Overall, I didn't feel the Korean vibe in this resto. Maybe a cool drinking place at night time.

I was craving for some hot wings and remembered that this korean resto has what I was craving for. As their name suggests they specialize on chicken (not just wings). The first time I tried it here was because of a korean drama where the lead actress would always crave for chicken and beer. I did enjoy their food, their serving is good to share for 3-4 people, though we were only able to eat half of the chicken, not because they taste bad but because they were too spicy for us. The flavored rice (think this was vegetable rice) was also good and in big serving. You may also try thei japchae and dukbokki (spicy rice cakes).
