Tried there chicken and it's very. Knowing it's there specialty, I thought it was the best. But no, its really not that special. Compared to Mang Inasal, this one is smaller and like I said, it's so dry. The rice is also separate worth P40.00. Garlic rice is a plain rice added with Garlic bits on the top. Why is it pricey? And there dessert. I tried Buko Sherbet. It's a strands of coconut with sugar on it. They added wafer, worth P2.00 that you can find in your sari sari store, (Nissin if I'm not mistaken) to add design. Its not delicious and also not cheap. But it looks and taste cheap.

It's your usual Filipino fast food. Sort of. Food brimming in unnecessary oil and average taste for its price. Nice to go when VERY hungry, but not really somewhere I'd eat in again sometime soon.

Was lucky to come in early today. We ordered the paa, pecho, baticolon, and atay with garlic rice. Everything was delicious but found the atay to have a bit of a fishy taste. The service was alright and they accommodated us when we asked for chicken oil.

Worst customer service! May attitude mga waiter sa branch na 'to. As in! They will even pretend na di ka naririnig once you called them. So, my bf called them as loud as he can yung obvious na rinig ng lahat. Lumingon naman yung isang beki na waiter sabay sabi ng "wait" then diretso sa kitchen. btw, konti lang customers that time. Gang sa naghintay ulit kami na may iba pang waiter na malapit. After more than 5 mins., may lumapit na din sa wakas. Nga pala, extra rice lang oorderin a. Ganun sila ka walang pake.Food wise, okay yung chicken inasal. Yung batchoy, puro sabaw.Mejo pricey lang siya para sa ganung quality ng food, service and etc.

Has poor service. Price is not appropriate to the food cause i l didnt like how the food tasted. The sisig has lots of ATAY which i really didnt enjoy. we asked for water but they served it really late.

To be honest, i find this chicken bacolod quite expensive. 120 for chicken only without rice? I suggest that they should have a affordable meals so that anyone can afford your food. I know its not like mang inasal chicken but the customers love your food its just expensive for a customers who will have quick lunch or dinner. #justsaying

Tried the other less-known dishes off their menu. I find discomfort in eating their Tuna Sisig as it still contains either hard scales or fins which I have to chew out every now and then. It tastes sweet too, which to me is unusual for a sizzling sisig. The Pancit Efuven is just the usual saucy pancit chopsuey with tons of garlic... Tastes like batchoy actually. I find the signature chicken meals too expensive compared to the rivalring restos. Food is served hot though. As for the place, it needs some sort of a tidy up.

I've been eating at Chicken Bacolod since the 90s. Their store at Katipunan was a frequent stopover after school for a snack or early dinner. It's amazing how the taste hasn't changed after all this time. I eat here whenever I'm in the area because it brings back childhood memories. Nostalgia trip! 😊My favorites: beef barbecue and chicken skin. Honorable mentions: beef sisig and gizzard. When you eat their inasal, try drizzling it with the chicken oil they use for basting (ask from the waiter). You can also pour it over your garlic rice! Yum!

I ate here with my workmates... the menu was pricier than Mang Inasal... so I thought it would be different... but NO. I wish we could have eaten at Mang Inasal instead. Rices here are not even unlimited, and they cost like P42 each? Whut? I ordered the Pancit Batchoy... and meh... the taste was so-so... not really worth my P145...In my opinion, I would not eat here again.

Slow service, crew are kind of confused.. They keep on forgetting my requests but all of them are smiling. I love the food, fresh, newly cooked and big serving... More than what I expect on a typical resto like this. But you guys should try.. I love the Kare-Kare!
