We tried both the food and their Gelati. Rating is more for their food since we went here for lunch. Flavor - 3Value for money - 3Service - 4 Ambiance - 4Recommended:- Dark truffle Gelato (P195, double scoop) - very dark and rich! This is one of their best sellers and I can understand why. If you're a fan of dark chocolate then you'll definitely love this.- Strawberry cheesecake Gelato: compared to the dark truffle, this was on the sweeter note but it wasn't too sweetOther items we ordered:- Aunt Giulia's Roasted Ribs (P445): the serving looked small at first, but it was enough for 1 person. According to my friend, the ribs were fall of the bones tender but the flavor could do better.- Beef Lasagna (P325): the sauce lacks the rich flavor of the beef. The taste of the pasta was overpowering the dish. Serving is also good for one. I would go back to Casa Italia, but maybe just for their gelati. A friend said that their pizza is good - might give that a try next time too. The menu uploaded here in website is not updated which might have affected my review. Since prices were way higher, I had higher expectations on the quality of food served.

A great café all around. The selections are plenty, with a lot of gelato, coffee, and alcoholic beverages available. I was not able to try the meals. The ambiance is great, with the feeling of a street café in the United States. Coffee (especially the Americano) is well-made, not watery, and does not have too little or too much caffeine. Gelato is thick and creamy, and the flavor options are very diverse. The only drawback is that this café has very limited seating. Great place to stay, both alone working or with colleagues/friends.

May 27, 2018 Had lunch here with the family. We ordered the following:Artichoke Crostini - the Crostinis were crispy and the artichoke dip was still sizzling a bit when it was served to us. We all liked this, it's delicious.Mushroom soup - Both Puppycat and I had 1 bowl each. It has a strong earthy flavor, far more satisfying than the canned or the powdered one in the sachet. It's good soup and so nice to eat with the Crostini slathered with the artichoke.Carbonara - I was expecting to see a whole slab of bacon like on the menu but I only got a thin slice that was already in pieces, what a let down! I only ordered this because of the picture but anyways it was lacking salt. The taste was easily remedied though cause there was a salt shaker on the table. After that it was ok already. They also serve this with 2 Crostinis.Carne Asada Pizza - This is a kid pleaser, pizza and taco all in one. Of course, this was Puppycat's order. I tasted and it was just ok.Quattro Formagio pizza - I was kinda disappointed that they didn't have the peaches and prosciutto pizza cause I wanted to see how it would compare with the one at Italiannis. Deckard just got this 4 cheeses. I like this one better than the taco pizza. I'm kinda ambivalent about their crust. I like it cause it's crispy but I feel like it's too too thin. As in paper thin like a papadum.Chicken rice and mushrooms - not necessarily a risotto but we all liked this. This is served on a cast iron skillet. Rice, chicken and mushrooms with a creamy sauce with melted cheese on top.The Gelatos!!! All their Gelatos are awesome! We got chocolate truffle, salted caramel, mango, raspberry and Earl grey.If there's one thing that we all will be definitely looking forward to again, it would be that.As for the service, no complaints. All the servers were attentive and friendly.

Is it a good idea to eat gelato before boxing? Maybe not but I did it anyway cause I arrived too early for the class, haha. I ordered dark truffle cause it’s one of their best sellers. Well it’s super chocolate-y, kinda sweet for my taste but texture is good. I ordered 1 scoop just to try it out but size is small for P130. I’d probably come back to try their food or coffee next time instead.
