In partnership with website, I enjoyed a scrumptious lauriat— a grand feast ranging from cold cuts, mains, rice and dessert— at Canton Road, over at Shangrila the Fort. Focusing mainly on Cantonese, Huaiyang and Sichuan flavors, Canton Road serves up a real treat of modern oriental flavors using both local and non-traditional Chinese ingredients. This set menu that I had was packaged with a private Dimsum Class that you and your family (or friends) can book for yourselves. It includes:🦆 24-hour Marinated Salted Duck🐔 Chicken in Shaoxing Yellow Wine🥒 Marinated Chayote in Aged Soy Sauce and Chili🐔 Double Boiled Chicken Soup with Black Garlic and Fish Maw🦐 Crispy Prawn Ball in Osmanthus Sauce served with Seasonal Fruits🐟 Crispy Cod Fish Roll filled with Mozzarella Cheese and Pumpkin Puree🦆 Peking Duck Ball filled with Mushrooms, Celery and Black Truffle in Abalone Sauce🐄 US Beef Tenderloin and crispy Foie Gras in Garlic Pepper Sauce🥬 Bokchoy, Wood Fungus and Wolfberries in Superior Broth🍚 Yin and Yang Duo Fried Rice with Egg White topped with Crab Roe, and Beets plus Black Truffle🥭 Chilled Mango and Grapefruit Sago, Pan-seared Tikoy, and Red Date Rice cake shaped like a mouseAnd you know what I love about this? It's very much different from the usual Chinese dishes I'd often have with family. Definitely a real treat for Chinese New Year. 🧧This special Chinese New Year package goes for ₱28,000, held in one of their private rooms. It includes a Dimsum class where you can make your own dimsum and bring it home, along with the aforementioned set lunch good for 10 people. Very sulit indeed!

I love everything in the set menu. Worth every peso & our personlized butler is very accommodating & warm. The prawn was unbelievebly huge! And we all loved the chocolate mousse.

Double Boiled Sea Conch Soup with Chicken in coconut Cup - Star of the Night! Artistically curated and super yummy.Asparagus Wrapped Bamboo Fungus, Wolf Berry in Pumpkin Superior - Wok Fried Flat Noodles with marinated Tender Beef - Smokey fragranced springy noodle with tender beef however not the usual chinese restaurant tenderizer tender beef.  You can still feel the meaty fiber shreds yet tender.  A very satisfying dish.Pan Fried US Short ribs w/Black Pepper Sauce in Hot Iron Plate - Quite salty however the nicely caramelized onionssss are so flavourful and yummy.Canton Singaure Fried Rice w/US Scallops and Shrimps - Lacks flavor despite of quality ingredients used to fry the rice.  Could have been better.Simmered Free Range Chicken with Shallots in Black Truffle Sauce - The dish is good as it is, however lacks the truffle flavor I am craving for.Szechuan Style Pouched Chili Grouper Fillet - Good but too little fish :)Revisited this Restaurant this pandemic 2021. They have streamlined their menu just like all other establishments do. We had a quick lunch and had some stuffs carried out as well. The garoupa fillet, radish cake witj XO sauce and the Taiwanese mince pork rice are all so satisfying. Highly recommended.

Came here to take our guests for lunch. First of all, i will give 4.5 stars for the lovely ambiance and beautiful interiors! We got a function room and it had a sofa and a private bathroom. The round table was big and the settings were nice! In terms of service, i will give a 4. The 2 waiters did a splendid job in taking care of us, even sang birthday song for our guest, took videos and pictures for us and cut the cake. There were at times though that food was not being served promptly, so some were already eating while others had to wait for their share. We ordered set menus and we ended up staying for 3 hours!!! The 2 set menus we ordered were the vegetarian and luxury menu set. Always had an impression that set menu gives the best specialties of the house. And we were unfortunately disappointed. Food i will rate as a 3. One, the luxury menu only had seafood except for the first appetizer which had chicken. Thus while the seafood items were expensive, the entire menu tasted bland. The cold appetizer fish fillet and chicken were hard but i liked the seaweed. The soup was okay. The sea cucumber dish was basic. I liked the shrimp and scallop dish, probably the only dish that had a different taste from the rest because of the xo sauce. The abalone that came with the rice was tough to chew and the lotus rice also lacked flavor (but at least it wasnt as greasy as other restaurants). For the dessert, almond chilled taho with lychee was ordinary but i loved the taro puff pastry shaped like a swan (2nd good thing) on the menu. I didnt get to taste the vegetarian set but my vegetarian friends didnt look too happy with what they got. Overall, the food wasnt bad, i think maybe the menu just didnt have a variety of flavors so it didnt go well plus considering the price of almost 50usd per person, the food and menu werent worth it. Suggest to have another set menu for meat lovers or dimsum set menu. I probably will still want to come back here and try the meat dishes coz the pictures looked good, but maybe not anytime soon.

Delicious food indeed!!! The Flamed Trio Barbecue Sampler was amazing! But also pricey at around ₱2,500 and we were 6 pax and had to order 2 platters of this because 1 was not enough for our group (and yes, this was even if we had other orders). The Barbecue Sampler comes with honey glazed iberico pork, roasted peking duck and my favorite suckling pig! Yummy! We did expect the prices to be high because it is located in an upscale hotel, Shangri-la Fort. The restaurant is also beautiful, well-kept, big but a bit gloomy. We also expected exemplary service from a luxury hotel and they delivered just that.

Really good chinese food. if you are not on a budget and looking for good chinese food this restaurant is probably it. i love their lobster cooked with egg white, bbq pork charsiu, fried rice and roasted pork. they have a good fish in claypot too. Get a private room for a more intimate setting, but they have a minimum spend in order for you to stay in the room. service is good, the kind you will get from a 5 star hotel.

Thumbs up to this restaurant. It was an amazing experience. Great food and service. Everything is so delish. We really enjoyed and that lechon macau is superb. I forgot to take a photo of the other dishes we had. Were just so excited to try them all. Hahaha

Place was quiet and not too crowded which was really good when you’re celebrating a romantic occasion. Food was pricey but its worth the quality and the whole experience. Overall will definitely go back to try other dishes.
