Really poor experience. We went here and queued for 10 minutes for our order. When we eventually got to the front we were told that basically everything was out of stock - they didn't even have ANY fizzy drinks.Due to staff having to explain their extremely limited options of food, and basically everyone having to change their orders, the queue took much longer than necessary. The restaurant layout is weird. It's poorly organised so waiters are constantly swerving out the way of the queue of people to avoid dropping food. It's like a crèche with loads of noise and parents don't control their kids who were ripping down posters on the front door. It was also really cold for some reason with the aircon on full blast. Bizarrely there's also no comfort room. This was before the food. I ordered the bibim fries and advert pic doesn't compare with what I actually got. The advert looks appetising with a good portion size - what I got was a handful of fries, some cold topping and a squirt of cheese sauce. Really negative experience, lack of food options, chaotic restaurant, really cold and disappointing food.

2 air conditioning units not working. Very unpleasant dining experience. Thankfully I didn't order a very hot soup. Feels like bathing with my own sweat. This needs to be fixed. Or else, better not dine here.

So its true how the saying goes... you get what you pay for.  And at BonChon, you certainly do.  It's not bad food though.  I didn't try the chicken, but I did try the spicy chicken Bibimbowl. My mum had the "original" non spicy bibimbowl.  The portion size was more than enough.  Lots of white rice, some shredded carrots, nori seaweed, and chicken with sauce.  The sauce did not taste like the authentic gochujang sauce.  But just a somewhat sweet chilli sauce instead.  My mum's bowl was also spicy, for something that was not meant to be spicy at all.  These bowls came with a drink and a side.  I chose the bulgogi beef soup, and my mum had french fries.  No complaints on either.  The best thing we ate was... the Ube bingsoo!  Ohhh sooo sweet and refreshing and delicious, and a steal at only 99 pesos.  It's their most popular dessert!  Big enough to share of course.  So if you're in the mood for some Korean and don't feel like spending an arm and a leg, def give this place a try!

This branch of BonChon is probably the one I frequent most as it’s very close to my work place. While it gets busy at lunch, it also opens earlier than other establishments in the area. I recommend having the chicken chops with soy garlic and kimchi coleslaw on the side. You can ask the servers to double coat your chicken for maximim flavor.

Try the Bibimbowls and the bingsu. Nothing can go wrong there. My personal favorite is the creamy curry bowl and the ube macapuno bingsu.Stay away from the Beef stew unless you want your taste buds to burn because this dish is spicy as hell. It doesn't taste much at all. It's just damn salty and spicy. I have a high tolerance for spice but this was too much.Overall, not bad for a fast food place. Defo different from most Korean food joints. :)
