This place is just okay. I would not write home to mum about it or recommend it to you.The food is okay but boring. The beer is cold and the the service is friendly but slow...Not too much more I can say about it really except yeah sure go but don't expect anything great.

Seafood island is our to go place whenever we wants to eat boodle style. Boodle style is served under banana leaves and usually everything is served in this one banana leaves and everyone eats here as well thus is meant for sharing.Blackbeard never fails, it's our nth time in this restaurant and we just keeps coming back. This time we had this boodle with grilled squid, milkfish, shrimps and liempo with Kalkag rice and oh boy it's fantastic! This is not a place if you're on a diet as surely you'd be eating more rice than you intend to. :)

We love their concept, unfortunately, the quantity of their serving is way off in their pictures and the price. For todays visit, we ordered the tali beach set for 3-4. When it arrived, it was pretty underwhelming. The fish was around 5in long, 4in squid, one barbeque, 3 pcs of shrimp, 1 small crab, mussels(with only a few meat inside, it was mostly shells), clam soup, plain rice, and some sides. This was barely enough for the 3 of us that we ended up ordering sisig and baked mussels. The sisig was mediocre for my taste and the mussels were topped with a creamy sweet sauce that we found a bit weird. Slab on the traditional quik melt, butter and garlic. Service was okay, as well as, the drinks.

Fresh seafood platter. Clean place and has good customer service. Lots of seats for customers. Affordable price for a boodle fight themed restaurant. Thumbs up!!!

Normally, everything tastes better when you’re starving. However, this was not the case as my starvation couldn’t mask how the food quality fell short of its menu.It didn’t taste as good as it looked. How can one mess up pancit in the Philippines?! The pork belly, the curry, and the lechon kawali were all fat instead of a good balance between fat and meat. The slices of watermelon, what happened there? Far from sweet and being ripe, complete waste to have cut it when not ready. The clam soup could have been better but they seriously couldn’t care less. Aside from being so small and the meat almost nonexistent, some of the clams had black stuffs in it when you open it.The good foods were:1. Laing (Spelling?)2. Sisig3. Chicken Isaw (although one tasted odd, almost as if not cooked entirely.)Everything else was subpar. The service? Slow. Mind you, there were two other parties besides us with one party done with their meal. Moving on. The knowledge? Lacking. What’s the point of writing it down on the menu when we had to remind them of our order because they forgot about it?Don’t settle like we did.
