It was my first time to eat here. My friend recommended that we try it so we did. I honestly thought this was another milk tea shop haha! Because of the name! So many tea shops with Leaf in their name . Anyway, I was blown away with their dishes.. It was truly a mix of all the asian cuisine in one! Loved the shrimp and pork toast and their best seller curry. I'll definitely bring my family here!

Got a 40% discount from MetroDeal. I’d say it’s really awesome deal as I saved 1,000 pesos for a lunch out with my team! The place in SM AURA is small but neat. I loved the wall designs as they were able to express different nations that are aligned with the cuisines they offer. The GOOD:We loved the pomelo salad. Balanced acidity. I personally loved the taste with bacon slices. Beef rendang was fork-tender. I just wished that they made it more spicy. The sauce is a perfect pair for the white rice.Curry fried chicken, kangkong with sambal sauce, and fried pomfret with chili sauce are good. Nothing extraordinary but good. The best one, unanimous decision, is the red curry pork with pineapple. This is truly a winner. We loved the texture and flavor of this dish! The pork is best eaten with the pineapple. The fruit brings a different flavor to this dish. The BAD:Serving size of beef rendang was quite small. Green mango salad wasn’t so good. I didn’t like the slimy texture.Fresh coconuts was warm. We wished they could’ve stored them in a cool place to make them refreshing!Overall, we were satisfied. The bad ones were offset by the 1k discount LOL

Pretty good place to get your thai food fix. They have really good and tender chicken satay and really nice thai curry with tender beef. The thai fried rice we ordered was very nice too. But the mango sticky rice dessert didn't really tasrmte that authentic.

Craving for Asian cuisine? This is the specialty of Banana Leaf. This multi-awarded international restaurant has ventured in the Philippines since 2001 and it’s still in the industry y up to now because it satisfies Filipinos’ love for Asian dishes.Banana Leaf offers the authentic delights of Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam for reasonable price. In line with its name, the food are served in banana leaves. Most food are for sharing so even if you order a lot it won’t really damage your pocket. What we also love about this is they have diverse offerings—healthy ones, meat and even dessert are covered. For this branch located at the lower ground of SM Aura, we ordered Barbecue Roasted Whole Baby Back Ribs, Pad thai, Vietnamese Fresh Spring Roll and Thai Milk Tea.We liked the baby back ribs as it is tender. It also had sweet marinade. The pad thai and fresh spring rolls tasted just like the authentic ones while the Thai Milk Tea was less sweet than the ones we’ve tried in Thailand. We commend the pricing of food since the ribs plate is only worth P398 and already good for sharing. The service was also good and we have no complaints. The Eatventurers

Located in Aura so the place is well decked-out. Staff were pleasant enough, but some were frazzled when the resto was busy. During our visit, our table wasn't cleaned at all, even when the food arrived. Penang Fried Rice (php238) - one of our favorites. Like yang chow.Malayan Seafood Laksa (php328) - The laksa was too spicy for my mom, though. I hope they asked us the level of heat we prefer. Personally, I like it spicy. Still a definite must try!Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls (php188) - light and perfectly paired with their sauces.Tilapia with Sambal (php388) - serving size is for sharing. Good crunch, best to use with sauce.Milk Tea Tarik (php80) - ok

I think South East Asian food is my vibe and here's why:* Thai Coconut Seafood SoupDelicious coconuty flavour, although, not as thick as I wish. I liked that it was served inside a coconut. Must be a regular thing for ya'll pinoys but it's quite exotic for me. It somehow reminds of Tom Yum. In fact, if someone said this is Tom Yum, I wouldn't even tell. The downside is that there's not much seafood. A few mussels & shrimps, a few pieces of some fish, lemongrass, and the rest (80%) is the broth.* Pandanus Pancake Roll with Fresh CoconutThis is the hit! I swear I would go here just for this dessert. It's cheap, there's a lot (4 rolls) and the flavour is just perfect. It's served with some sweet sauce. Everything fits so nicely, niyog, pandan, sauce, mmm...* Thai Iced TeaI like how they serve it with milk on top, so you get to stir it. It's a nice idea because it's fun to watch milk dissolving in the cup. The actual taste is a little bit on the sweet side but nothing too extreme. Just stir it well and mix with ice.The ambiance is so-so. They didn't decorate much but I liked the dresses on waitresses, if that counts 😝

We had the coconut seafood soup. For drinks, I tried the Pandan iced tea. The soup was good as far as taste but lacking the seafood. There really wasn't much to work with. Thank God there was rice! As for the oandan drink, it was super refreshing. I wouldn't mind going here just for the drink. :)
