I kind of agree with the saltiness issue of your customers. I tried your CLQ in Tomato Sauce, yeah I got the idea of having a sour side will compliment the right level of saltiness of a fried chicken. Unfortunately in my case, It seemed like I got served one ticket to the hospital. Not to mention the poor service. If you'll visit this branch when you want to eat out for lunch and you need to be back in an hour or so, I am NOT suggesting this one. Two cancelled meetings due to their poor service is not a joke.

I usually come here by myself and consistently order only the goulash. Makes for a quick lunch and it pretty much hits the spot everytime. Tried pretty much everything on the menu, and all their other menu items, which are mostly grilled meats (with cheese) are ok, but not unforgettably good.So they decide to change their goulash portions and come up with a smaller solo serving, which is about 70% of their previous serving and a serving good for three people. The new serving is not enough for one person if you do not order anything else. Since they don't have small plates, coming here alone for the goulash isn't such a good idea.Also, as a caption to my picture. Plato ito. Hindi bowl. This makes the food lose heat faster and gets the sebo of the goulash forming faster.

Tried their cheese pizza and buffalo wings and it was great. Though not a fan of their garlic sauce. Nonetheless, I loved the place cause it's cozy and their staff were pretty much attentive. And thumbs up for their live band!

Interesting menu items that were to die for! Very rich though that you will not want to go back until a while after. They are easy to talk to regarding customization of dishes, like half rice and half fries instead of just rice OR fries. After dinner it also turns into a cozy place for drinks. Try it out and just ask for the best sellers!

I don't know why their bestseller is stuff pljeskavica was too dried meat and tastes too blend. Their chicken kebab was not original kebab taste more on fusion with bacons taste alright. But the place was not noisy so i want to rate higher for that

At first, I thought what is Balkan food? Maybe it was something exotic with lots of unfamiliar ingredients. But when I was finally served to me it wasn't, it's actually lots of fried meats, with lots of melted mozzarella, and tomato sauce. It's a very interesting cuisine and easy to get into, especially for those who like anything fried with melted cheese.

Once every week our office generously orders lunch of our choice. We decided to try Balkan's delivery this week. I ordered the cevapčići /che-vap-chi-chi/ platter and solo goulash /gu-lash/. I am giving them a 3.5 for the serving - it's HUGE. ones on the photo are just 1/3 of my delivery food. For what the value of the plates are for, I think little improvements will change the rating to a higher notch.• goulash - it's a stew eaten by Hungarian shepherds during the 9th century. It's a sun dried flavored meat needing only water to make it a meal. Well, Balkan added fusili to the dish which is a good twist, the meat though is not as tender as what I am expecting for a stew, and the bread that came with the stew is hard, I didn't bother dunking it in my soup (which I would usually do if if I have bread and soup). • cevapčići platter - this is the signature Serbian skinless sausages made from ground beef. I am a fan of these little fingers, as I describe it. This weeks' delivery though was dry (it's more palatable if the sausage is juicy), and it didn't taste as yummy. (am not sure if it's caused by meat being frozen then cooked). The platter comes with either rice or fries - choose away.But, I am not stopping at this delivery. I'd still order from this place or dine in Balkan and treat myself to an extraordinary gustatory experience.

Sharing our last lunch out experience at Balkan. So I finally tried this Yugoslavian restaurant and my experience was good. Candidly, what got us to try this restaurant is their Buffalo wings which comes at an affordable price around Php340 per dozen (not bad!). We ordered the Classic and White Cheese flavors which the server said are their best sellers. And it was sooooo gooood! I also tried their Cervapcici Pocket and it was flavorful too. But, I am coming back definitely because of the Buffalo Wings and will try their pizza next! :) Perfect for office lunch outs and chilling out with friends.

I tried the Lamb Meatball Pasta as it looked so appetizing in the menu but upon eating it, I was really disappointed with the taste to the extent that I couldn't finish eating it. I guess I just can't stand Yugoslavian cuisine, but still it was not delicious at all.

The place is great and loved the steak served, the beer is also affordable so my husband and son enjoyed it! Good thing we came on a night with live band, there was never a dull moment that night.
