Good food. Burritos and quesadilla are good. So are their mojitos and margarita. Size of savings are satisfactory. Ambience is good. Severs are friendly and alert.

I was recently here with colleagues. While they enjoyed what they ordered (Burrito, Albondigas, Taco Bowl), the Mexican Omelette that I ate was so so. It consisted of chicken strips, omelette, rice, and salsa. Although it was a huge serving, I find the dish a bit salty (perhaps because of the mayonnaise on top) that I easily got tired of the taste. I didn't finish it.The ambiance was nice. It continuously played Spanish songs when we were there. Also, the interior design best defines what a Mexican restaurant is. I like it.The waitresses were so attentive to us. Not that I'm complaining, but I'm thinking that maybe it was just because we were with male expats. Filipinos tend to be more accommodating to foreigners than to locals. LOL.(There's no bathroom in this restaurant. The nearest public bathroom is beside Wursty Wursty.)

I was exploring Tuscany, Mckinley Hill when I saw B&T. I thought I would give it a try perhaps it has surprises in their menu. The venue had music playing in the background making a sort of chill party vibe. The menu handed to me was a bit intimidating since there were a lot of choices and I am not so familiar with Mexican food. Their beverages were a selection of international brands of beer.I picked a the Mexican Wrap even though it had a vague name. You are also given a choice of meat for that item. I guess it was nice for those who are not fond of a particular type of meat filling for the wrap. I was shocked as they served the item which was twice the sice of a normal burrito. For those with a big appetite this can be a place to try. The taste was average so it's a good thing that there were different dips served to make it interesting. Overall the meal wasn't too much of a success. I had an impression that they compensated the lack of flavor by upsizing the portion the meals.

Orders: Burrito (Lengua), Chimichangas, Pita Pocket, Enchiladas, Albondigas (not in picture)* Fast service* Excellent servers - they know how to differentiate and explain their menu* Very good mexican food - they dont use too much onions to "make it taste like mexican", instead use the legit stuff, love the beans they use* Ambience is nice - they play mexican songs and interior will give you the mexican feelAte here twice already and they're consistent with their service and food quality. Rated 5/5 and will definitely recommend this to friends and family.

I always keep coming back to this restaurant whenever I want my Mexican food fix. I get the same quality of food every time I visit here. If you're craving for Mexican food, you should try this preferrably with a plus one. The food is for sharing and it will easily fill you up. Go get the Ball Park Nachos, the Chimichangas and the Wet Burrito (we got the el grande burrito good for 4 to 5 people but you may opt for the solo).

I used to take pride in their Ortigas branch, often recommending it to some of my peers. I don't know what went wrong with my most recent visit here. I won't lie, I haven't dined in B&T for years and it's my first time to try out their McKinley branch but those reasons aren't even enough to pardon my disappointment. I was surprised that their usual colorful chalk-written menu above the counter wasn't present. Instead, they had a clipboard menu which I found very very confusing. I asked for their Surf and Turf tacos (something I remember ordering from before) but the waiter redirected me to the taco menu and said they're focusing on single servings. This prompted the bad experience because it meant then that you would pay Php155 for ONE taco. In their menu, it said "Add 20: Lengua and Shrimp". Since they didn't have the Surf and Turf, I got beef tacos with additional shrimp (which according to the menu was only 20). By this time, the waiter was already misunderstanding our orders. He was possibly tired because we came in past 10PM. So we enjoyed our meals and all and since my companion and I were splitting the bill, we started computing how much each would shell out. Imagine our shock when we saw that 2 tacos (one with additional shrimp) and nachos amounted to 800+! We reviewed the receipt and asked the cashier to correct the additional shrimp since our receipt stated that it was worth 220. After, our receipt was returned with no difference. The cashier explained to us that the additional meat for the taco costs Php220. I was starting to get frustrated this time because nowhere in the menu did it say that additional meat would cost 220. In fact, we were misled by the menu saying that you just have to Add 20 for carne asada, lengua and shrimp. The cashier again clarified that they meant a taco with shrimp would cost Php155 + Php20. No way was I going to pay for meat which is pricier than a taco so we had to settle it with the cashier. I guess she couldn't find a loophole or decent justification for the misleading information so she removed the Php220 from our bill. I would've given them a 2-2.5 if our food didn't taste good and if they didn't compensate for the waste of money for additional shrimp.

B&T Mexican Kitchen is just ok. Jalapeno poppers were pickled jalapenos rather than fresh or roasted. Pretty expensive too.The burrito menu as well as the whole menu itself was lost in translation. It was all over the place and needs a lot of editing. Anyway, we tried the lengua burrito and I wasn't happy. It lacks flavor and they only give you a small amount of salsa.I also tried the horchata. Not happy either.Compared to other Mexican places, B&T Mexican Kitchen is way south of the border not good.

Love the place and it's interior. The attendants are nice and attentive even when they're overly busy with the dinner crowd. The menu was kind of confusing though but the attendant was nice enough to inform us of the meat options. I opted to get the chimichangas with beef and it was the best chimichangas I've had so far. Big serving! Good enough to feed two since it also comes with a salad in the middle. My friend ordered the lengua burrito and he wasn't able to finish it cause it was so big! I will definitely go back here especially when I'm craving for some mexican. A little pricey, but considering the serving it was just right.

Got the jalapeño poppers, carne asada street tacos & carne asada burrito via their delivery service. I liked the salsa and sauce for the tacos and burritos. The food was ok. The meat had a lot of tendons which made it not fun to eat.
