While we're waiting for Paella, they served us Lengua Salpicao and Romesco Bread Crumbs. A. complimentary from the restaurant that’s not included in their menu. This. crispy, tasty and very well-seasoned bite size dish is perfect to start our. stay in Arrozeria. Masarap, without reservations. We also had a serving of Lengua

This is not a review of the food, but on customer relations. And even assuming that the paella in Arrozeria is one of the best, we would rather pick a restaurant that offers a better overall dining experience. My friends and I went to Arrozeria BGC a few days ago for dinner. We all understood that paella took time to prepare. In any case, after all orders, including two paellas had arrived, there was still one order of paella pending. After two follow ups, we had a discussion with the waitress, who informed us of i) the specific time when the order was entered into the system, and ii) the specified range of minutes for an order of paella to arrive. She insisted that the length of time was normal and even emphasized that this was written in the menu. When the pending paella arrived, we pointed out that the order arrived beyond the specified time. The waitress still insisted that it arrived on time. Since it was so easy to confirm by counting the minutes, the waitress simply walked away when she could not argue anymore against the figures - without any apology or even a cursory "thank you for waiting" if she truly believed there was no harm done. The treatment to us was a far cry from our frequent visits before when the restaurant was still Beso Vinoteka. Good paella in Arrozeria BGC? No, thanks.

I have passed ArroZeria's BGC branch a couple of times already and I have always been intrigued by the food they serve here. Paella has been one of my most sought-after Spanish dishes, along with their extensive list of delicious tapas. When I saw that Booky offers a discount here just through booking a reservation, I immediately arranged a lunch meeting with my friends. We ordered their 12-inch Paella Rossejat, Crispy Lengua, and Cauliflower Casserole.Among the food we ordered, my favorite would have to be the lengua. I've learned a couple of years back that lengua is actually ox tongue and since then, I haven't tried eating it again until now. It was really delicious, albeit a bit expensive. My friends enjoyed the Cauliflower Casserole the most, though. For the paella, I was really eyeing their paella negra since I haven't tried it before, but sadly, it was not available at that time. The Rossejat was okay, but I found it too expensive for Php790, serving- and taste-wise. There are a lot of other restaurants out there that serve better paellas. For the place, it was really dim and cozy inside. I think it would look absolutely beautiful during the night. For the service, everyone was very accommodating. The staff who attended to us was very knowledgeable and polite in answering our questions. The others were also very attentive in filling up our glasses of water and serving our food.By the end of our meal, we answered a survey from Booky regarding the restaurant's food and service. We then received three mini slices of chocolate cake for free! I loved the cake! It was a bit bitter, which I prefer in chocolate cakes, and was fluffy. It was a perfect ending to a wonderful lunch.

For a very small portion. The serving time, price, and taste of their dish is average at best. After waiting for more then 30 mins, the paella was still undercooked.

VERY BAD SERVICE. The waiting time for the paella was supposed to be 30-45 minutes, apparently, they couldn't even serve it in 1 hour. How disappointing.
