A far cry from their branch on Alabang where we ate years ago for my cousin's graduation and we were completely disappointed because of the service and quality of their food. We were supposed to eat at a different restaurant yesterday, only to find out that it's been replaced by another resto already. I decided to give Amici another chance because it was the only Italian resto we could find in McKinley that day.Food: 4.0We ordered their margherita pizza, pear & blue cheese salad, and creamy pesto & prosciutto penne pasta. Everything was freshly cooked, just as how it should be.Service: 4.0Great service from our server. He even got to convince us to get their discount card that day.Price: 4.0I used to think the food is too pricey, but Amici redeemed itself through this McKinley branch. I think people are willing to shell out a little more if it's worth the price, and this is one good example. We'll be back, Amici!

When an Italian restaurant gets the classics just right - aglio olio, margherita pizza, vongole, bolognese, espresso - you know it'll be worth it. Always a good place to dine and have a good time con amici (with friends)!

My husband and I go here for our Italian food craving fix. It's just within the Venice Piazza mall which is a stone's throw away from our condominium. It's a cute little resto that may be missed as it's located at the far end of the mall, and much of the crowd nowadays are in the Grand Canal mall. This means that we could enjoy our bit of privacy. I love their pasta, and lately i've discovered their flat bread pizza which is absolutely lovely. The staff here is very accommodating and attentive. They deliver food, with a minimum purchase of P500 and delivery feel.

Since my review is just for the Caramia part of Amici, I'm gonna give 4.0 - we haven't tried Amici's menu yet... but when you feel kinda low or you just want to treat yourself a good gelato, Caramia is one of the best place to go. Loved the flavors!!!

I've eaten here twice already. My boyfriend and I ordered their Risotto and Blue Cheese & Bacon pasta. I was not really impressed by those two meals, though not really disappointed. The highlight of my meal was actually their garlic bread, which got me thinking that next time I'll try their flatbread pizzas.

Been here twice because of the pasta. For those times that I ate here with my boyfriend, we both agreed to the fact that our Penne Rosa and Bacon satisfies our taste buds and tummies. We also tried a cream-based one but I prefer the PR&B :)

My default choice when I'm in McKinley Hill and craving for Italian. Always a delight to eat here for their wood-fired oven pizzas and tasty pasta dishes, plus their ever-enticing gelato and desert bars (their lemon bars are just yummy). Good service and ambiance (would do for a semi-romantic date), with a nice view of the Venice piazza fountain. Overall, Amici is your friendly neighborhood Italian restaurant.

Food was great, as always. I liked every dish I tried here. Today my only complaint would be about the grouchy servers. It won't hurt to smile a little when getting orders and giving the bill. Managers/owners, kindly remind them.UPDATE 12/14/15 9:00 PMI went here with my team for our Christmas dinner a few hours ago. There were four of us and we wanted to sit upstairs since the vacant table at the first floor was at the dark corner of the restaurant. We asked to be seated upstairs but the first waiter we talked to said that they had to maximize the first floor first, before accommodating people on the second floor. So we were forced to sit at a dark corner. The second waiter, the one who took our order, told a different story. He said that the second floor was reserved by a large group that's why we can't transfer. Management, your waiters lie to customers. A few minutes later, more customers came in and were directed to the second floor. And there's no way they look like they were in the same group. Were they just too lazy to go up and down to take orders? If so, don't make the paying customers suffer for their laziness. That's part of the job in a two-storey restaurant. We were very disappointed with how we were treated tonight. It was as if we were not important enough to be seated at a table we would be comfortable in. Your food is still great, no doubt about that; but the service is such a turnoff.
