Perhaps it's the best restaurant within Bohol, totally possible, and it is excellent, just not a fantastic one. Waiters may forget orders and the garlic rice could have little garlic inside it. And not all of the meals they recommend will undoubtedly be superb. Yetit will be good.

Proceeded to go there with my fiancee and her mom. The food is great and the services is good, that is not easy to get here. I must say i enjoyed my food and it's really worth the price!

The meals is delicious! specifically the beef steak and garlic poultry fillet! And the fresh fruits shakes aswell. The location is quite accessible, and the atmosphere is beautiful

Originally, Gerarda's began as an aged ancestral house upon J.S. Torralba Road that was converted into a restaurant. Nowadays, Gerarda's offers 3 branches: normally the one at their 1st area, another branch on CPG Avenue, and something in Panglao. I acquired supper with myfriend at the next location known as Gerarda's Dos. The meals was excellent. We began with the Seafood Kare Kare. The broth had been very delicious, nutty, and nicely seasoned. The assorted seafoods including Squid, Shrimp, Seafood, and Crabs, had been tender and completely cooked. The vegetables were furthermore tender. All the parts gave the dish several degrees of textures and tastes. The Herb and Spiced Poultry was tasty. Crispy fried covering and skin externally. Tender, succulent, juicy meats on the inside. Completely seasoned. The Pinakbet (*a native mixed veggies dish) was also quite tasty. The veggies were company but cooked perfectly. Nicely seasoned. Excellent consistency. The shrimp and slim slices of pork had been tender and tasty. The Crispy Shrimps had been scrumptious and lived around its name. Flawlessly seasoned, crispy shrimp. Good crunch. For dessert, we'd the Leche Flan. It had been delicious, wealthy, creamy, and sinfully decadent. An ideal way to end an extremely sumptuous meal. Really chill ambiance. Simple however elegant. The atmosphere will be homey and cozy. Ideal for romantic dinners for just two, family members gatherings, or company dinners. Vegan friendly. Family members friendly. Kid pleasant. The staff was outstanding. They were comfortable, courteous, attentive, and accommodating. The service was superb. Prices are reasonable. Actual authentic native Filipino good dining cuisine. More tasty menu items may also be available. I recommend this location to most of my friends and fans. 5 Celebrities out of 5 Superstars!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐s!!!

I am passing up the opportunity to attempt Gerarda's since arriving in Bohol, since i have notice family and large groups going in for supper...I mistakenly judged, "elegant place for visitors, lame Filipino meals, pricey, etc". In 1 visit the other day ALL THAT impressions transformed, andnow...I go presently there with a pal or 2 for home-cooked supper, cozy and warm atmosphere, gracious service of safeguard, crew, cooks. Gerarda's will be MY Place!!! Arrived at Bohol, don't avoid Gerarda's. Don't create my mistake...

It could have already been the food options I made but sadly it wasn't really that impact just average really. 2 folks got the mango floats plus they didn't taste extremely new at all. Was wishing it might be really nice in line with the reviewsbut I wouldn't come back here sadly

We struggled to get good local food within the Philippines. However the food at Gerarda's was delish! We didn't recognise most of the titles on the menu therefore the waiter really was helpful and described all of them for us. We'd a couple of ofvegetarians and there is lots to allow them to choose from too. Unfortunately i cannot remember the laundry names... but we purchased a couple to use between us plus they were all lovely. We were worried upon arrival that the menu would be away of our cost range as the menu eating place is pretty fancy - however the prices were affordable and worth it! This is a family operate restaurant and the personnel were all really welcoming. A dish has been ordered that people didn't realize had ocean food in, however they were pleased to replace it cost-free which was lovely!

If you have dropped all hope to find decent food in Panglao, brave the trip to Tagbilaran and head to Gerarda’s. It'll restore your faith to humanity.
