We went here on 18/05 around 1pm. We ordered Chicken Parmigiana and Gourmet Burger. It was ok, the chicken breast is nice however the pasta was too hard and cold when served. We cancelled the Gourmet Burger because its already an hour wait. Service was TOO LONG. Not coming back here. Not worth the wait or the money. Worst.

Thank you for giving us a complimentary cakes as my sister and I celebrated our birthdays here. We would like to recommend Deck for outstanding assistance/service. He assist us all the way and we give him 5-star. We are also surprised because the band called Trio serenaded us. Visit the place and try their delicious karekare, pancit luglug, and lumpiang sariwa. Definitely, we recommend this place!

March 31, 2018 Breakfast BuffetWe were seated within a few minutes. Staff were very attentive and helpful.Our table was overlooking the viewing deck of Taal. This adds to an already great hotel ambiance. Food choices are simple, typical Filipino/American breakfast. Stations could be more organized and cohesive.Long line for live station for eggs. Probably could improve by providing a number and be delivered to table instead of queueing.In general, food was pretty good.

Breakfast with a breathtaking view of the lake.The buffet, though not as extensive, offers a good range of breakfast staples and if you have preference for the local fare you will not be disappointed.  My favorite had to be the crispy fried fish or danggit - it's up there with bacon.  As usual, the egg station seems to be the busiest and, as expected, bacon is always gone in a blink.Place is bright, with a cheerful atmosphere.  And, of course, it has a magnificent view.Can't wait to return.  It has been a while.

Best place to have breakfast and enjoy the view!! Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights with family.. The next morning we had breakfast at Veranda with this amazing view. Will surely comeback soon!

We were looking for a good and cozy restaurant in Tagaytay to celebrate my husband’s Birthday, and Veranda Restaurant was the one suggested by my sister. Surprisingly, it was good. Their pizza tasted so amazing. My mom is a bit of a food guru but she loved how the Bulalo was cooked. I loved everything we had. Overall, we had a nice and lovely lunch.So, even if you're not checked-in at Taal Vista Hotel, you can still dine at Veranda Restaurant and get a chance to take the perfect view of Taal Volcano

This is the worst buffet I have ever experienced.1. Seafood Paella overpowering taste is sauce of sardines.2. Grilled squid still has the white plastic part which should be taken out when cleaned prior to cooking.3. Grilled beef was too salty and rubbery.4. I requested for bibingka in the dessert station and the server informed me that it would take a long time instead of asking if I am willing to wait. Felt like she does not want to exert an effort to do it.5. Carving station is porchetta and no steak or roast beef. Considering that this is a weekend buffet. Furthermore, after a small lechon belly was served to guests, it was not refilled. Only food left in the carving station is yellow fin tuna. No right to call it a carving station.6. If I compare their price to other hotel buffet, the food choices definitely does not give you your money's worth.Verdict: Never coming back.

Breakfast buffet haven! I super love it here. Tried it a couple of times. The bread selection is just wonderful. If you’re looking for a place to have breakfast in Tagaytay, this is the place. They know what they’re doing.

Besides their overpriced ala carte dishes, they also serve buffet breakfast, lunch, dinner. Saturday dinner buffet was at p1,495. Not too many choices and the roast beef was a little tough to chew but was delicious nevertheless. This is the place to go to if you're already tired with the usual bulalo, kare-kare, crispy pata served by almost all the resto in Tagaytay.

Views were great! We travelled from Manila early to bring our guest from India to experience Tagaytay. I was trying to book a table by calling them. We were planning to have breakfast at around 8am but good thing I called and was told that 8am onwards is a very busy time for their buffet breakfast so they’re not accepting reservations, only walk ins. We left Manila at around 5am on a Sunday and arrived around 6:30am at Veranda. Food was ok, not a fan of the longganisa and pork sausage but liked the fish fillets. Chicken noodle soup was good. Juices seems made from powder or from bottles/cans but liked the Guava one. Hubby said the Orange juice seems like Minute Maid because of the pulp bits. Rating food just so-so but views are really great! We were lucky to get an el fresco seat because we arrived early.
