This place is a family favorite. Anytime of the day or week meal destination for us. It was a quick stop to satisfy my craving for bibingka. The bibingka was fluffy and savoury, thanks to the extra salted eggs i requested. The ube palitaw is Also delicious. However, the ginataang halo-halo felt like a left over with a thick over cooked/boiled look and taste. But we will be back for sure.

Place is good for after church lunches or rainy day family gatherings. Staff are attentive but the food did not quite hit the mark for me. Location is nice btw!

This restaurant was recommended by a friend and did not fail my expectations. We waited a little while for our food to arrive but the staff were attentive enough to make sure that we are being well taken care of. The place is as homey as it can be and you will really feel that the food is home made and naturally Filipino. I loved their adobo flakes partnered with garlic rice, sinigang and special halo halo!

The place looks good. It feels like home. You can dine inside or outside and enjoy the view and fresh air. They serve Filipino food. We tried their Nilagang Bulalo, Tilapia Frita and Kangkong Malutong. The meat and veggies in the Nilagang Bulalo seem fresh.

Went to Tagaytay with my girlfriend on a rainy Sunday and this was where we had dinner. Unlike me, she's been to Tootsie's countless times so I was the one eager to finally get to dine here.We were starving so we ordered three viands instead of our usual two. We had the Lumpia Ubod Petit, Adobo Flakes 21, Prawns in Lemon Butter Sauce, Garlic Rice, and a Green Mango and Ripe Mango Shake.Servings were generous but the food were hit and miss. Not that they were bad. I just think they could be better. The green mango shake was a hit for me because it had the right amount of sweetness and sourness. The rest were a miss. I like the lumpia ubod since it was packed with filling but eventually I got tired of it. The adobo flakes was wet (I like those things crispy) and too salty for my taste, the prawns were overcooked so the meat stuck to the shell, and the garlic rice was oily.Still, something about the place makes me want to come back and try their other dishes. But next time I'll make sure to leave room for dessert.*****Photos courtesy of my gf.

This place have a good ambiance, food presentation looks fine for me, Staffs are kind very kind, but the reason I rated this place 5.0 is because of their ''Hot Chocolate'' . Every sip feels like I'm in heaven . I don't know but the hot chocolate is so good. You must try if you happen to stop by

My family and I eat here frequently - breakfast, lunch and dinner - almost everytime we go to Tagaytay. Food is superior! Our favorites are the crispy tadyang, any from the breakfast line-up and sisig! Oh did I mention the batirol? Hot chocolate is a family favorite too! Especially that pinipig too

If you are a frequent traveler to the south particularly to Batangas, then you may know or heard from your elders, that the home of Bulalo lies in the heart of the rising sun. Tootsie's restaurant was indeed one of the best Bulalo restaurant during their time.My honest view pf Tootsie's now? Their menu or food selection have not change all these years, they have sticked to their turo-turo style which I find outdated, this may have been convenient during the times when most of their customers are just travelers and bus passengers that are in a hurry. The quality of their dishes including their bulalo are no longer up to present standard of newer restaurants. The only saving grace of my lunch earlier was in fact (you got it right, baby) the bulalo. It's as almost as good as my dad's and gram's. But it definitely was neck and neck. The meat was so tender, melts in your mouth softness! The vegetables were crunchy and still had their bite. Not too salty, but the broth definitely had that good flavor. It was just really good. Other dishes left me standing on the other side of the fence, though.

The minute you step inside Tootsie's you already get the feel of a homey, earthy kitchen--which could best describe the food too! This little restaurant is a must-visit when in Tagaytay. The flavors are rich and every single dish we ordered were deliciously savored. We ordered ensaladang talong, with th eggplant very fresh and steamed perfectly. Next up was my personal favorite--their Laing! Please order this dish and taste for yourself. ❤️ Maliputo, a Batangas specialty, was also very yummy and grilled just right. The family also enjoyed the Kare-Kare, with the rich peanut flavor and generous servings of meat.
