We've our lunch here today dec 31 2019, we ordered beef bulalo, crispy pata, sinugba platter, mix noodles, crispy sisig and fried bangus well food tasted good, but service is abit slow, price is. Abit pricey and a add on service charge. Serving is big and bulalo soup is refillable. They have seats that you can view the taal volcano.

1st time reviewer! This is not the first time we ate at RSM but due to pandemic no buffet so we tried the ala carte menu! For me the lumpiang shanghai is a bit pricey, more on wrapper and less meat! Bulalo is ok but with the price of 750 I think is not worth it. Service is not that good nor bad! Konti na nga lang customer feels like they don't care on their customers. And yes meron po SC!

We stopped by for a late lunch and tried their lunch buffet at 650 per head with no leftovers. Good variety of food but seemed very basic. Taste was so-so but could do with improvement. I expected more for 650 per head.Choices: lechon carving, tawilis, kaldereta, kare kare, dinakdakan, chop suey, BBQ, salad bar with marinated salsas: eggplant, tomatoes, mango. Sushi was fake crab sushi, cheese sushi. Soup was bulalo and crab and corn soup. Dessert while a lot, nothing to choos from: puto, local ice cream, iced kachang, expecting more local desserts like halo-halo, turon, ginataan. What was good was the bulalo soup and kare kare. One thing to really improve are bathroom facilities. Great Views.

The next day, instead of braving the usual weekend brunch crowd at neighboring buffets, we went to RSM Lutong Bahay and was surprised that they offer a buffet too. P650 is not bad. We were able to stay from 11am to 3pm, had at least 2 to 3 tries at the buffet and numerous cups of coffee. Best to enjoy the coffee outside to get a good view of Taal Lake. Based on our observation, RSM has one of the best unobscured views, specially at their smoking deck.*I failed to take pics of their buffet set up because we were so hungry hahaha They had a very substantial buffet, but their specialty is seafood. :)

This is a nice place to have lunch in Tagaytay. I love the woodsy and elegant ambiance. Swertehan na lang din sa parking. Masarap din ang food. Nung second time namin, nagbuffet kami. Nirerefill nila kaagad yung mga putahe. I like that they display lots of fruits (dito ako unang nakatikim ng dragonfruit) and they have plenty of desserts to choose from. We also had live music playing for us when we went there. I’m not sure if there are just designated days for that or if it’s always like that.

Thank you Mother Nature for the breathtaking view of the Taal lake which we were seated. I would give this a fair rating. The food is not to rave for, the bulalo taste bland, as well as the lumpiang ubod. We also had the sinugba platter for sharing.It was good except for the small mussels. The sisig we find it okay.

RSM Lutong Bahay is one of the most popular and easily-recognizable restaurants in Tagaytay. It offers good, home-cooked Filipino food, a soothing ambiance, and stunning view of Taal Lake and Mt. Binintiang Malaki. We have been to RSM Lutong Bahay on two occasions – the first one was for dinner and our recent visit was for lunch. Both instances were to celebrate birthdays.

Great place for big groups and events. Foods are good , Ambiance is great and spacey. From the entrance one staff will entertain you and lead you to the place you want to seat. I checked the place and surroundings are clean. One thing i also like is they closed at Midnight.

Business hours here lists that they are open til 12 but it's still 10:30 and they are already closed! Waste of time and gas.Please update your business hours!
