Poor service! We ordered Set Meal A (Php1,173), we waited almost 30mins before they told us some of items in the set meal are not available. Since we were already hungry, we just agreed whatever replacement they suggested (Tawilis downgraded to Tilapia, Pakbet downgraded to Laing). The "special" bulalo, which was supposed to be the main attraction, was disappointing! It looked big while it was being served but when we started to eat it, panay litid at matigas na karne lang!

After our trip to Calatagan, we went straight to Tagaytay as we craved for bulalo. It was Saturday night and all bulalo enthusiasts are out having dinner in all those overrated restaurants. And we found Nanay Dorie's Bulalohan.Service was ok. We didn't have to wait long for our food to be served. Price justifies what is served. We ordered, of course, their bulalo. And had tawilis, and lechon kawali. We left the place full and pretty much satisfied.

We enjoyed the great tasting bulalo from Nanay Dorie's. We were hesitant to try eating here at first because we were more familiar with the others who were first in the business. The broth was oozing with goodness and utak. Also I enjoyed their lechon kawali. Compared with the other bulalohan around, this is a MUST try.

The first time we were here we were so impressed of ourselves that our bill was just less than 1k for 4 pax. A budget friendly resto, cheaper version of Leslies, and Im not sure if I hear it right that they are related. Anyway about the food, it is almost the same as the other bulalohan joint in the area but they have meals that are so practical.

The famous bulalo of Tagaytay...you can find it here. Tasty and affordable. We ordered 2 and it is enough for 10 to 14 persons. It is worth it.
