I was here last feb15 celebrating with my partner for our anniversary. She never tried bulalo yet in tagaytay so i decided to bring her here because of the good reviews i read here in website. The place was very homey but the price of the bulalo is not the same with the menu uploaded in website so maybe you guys should update it. The food is nice but hoping they could add corn in their bulalo but nonetheless it was a good visit here at Morielli's.*They also geve us the meaning of our name which is cute 😘

Went here for lunch just because I got curious after seeing their menu here in website. Ordered the Bolognese pasta while my partner ordered Sizzling Tadyang and Tacos. I'd like to commend their sizzling tadyang, the meat was reaaaaaaaaaly soft, almlst falling off the bone kind!! Their pasta is tasty and their tacos were good, too. I also like their ambience, how homey it feels with all the pictures and kid's arts hanging on the wall. And they even have a gift for those first timers, like us. Overall, this will be my new favorite here in Tagaytay.

Modern filipino cuisine at its best. The atmosphere of this place is very calming especially during the afternoon. We had buttered shrimp, bulalo and lechon kawali. They were all delicious :) staff people are friendly and accommodating. Also, they gave us this paper in which they give the meaning of your name. Definitely looking forward to dining back here.

Great alternative from the busy strip of food chains from Tagaytay-Nasugbu road. Very cozy place but I wish it was overlooking Taal Lake instead of the Tagaytay-Calamba road coz that's what people come to see in the first place. Ordered their Creamy carbonara, it was creamy indeed and tasty then their own version of lechon kawali was nothing special. Service was really promt since we're the only one present at that moment. Overall, nice ambience but I think over priced. I'd rather eat at Contis though if you're craving for pasta.

There’s a little back story why we ended up at Morielli's in Tagaytay. We were to attend an early Sunday morning wedding at Caleruega so we decided to have overnight stay in Tagaytay. With a loose Saturday itinerary, we drove around trying to find a bulalo restaurant. Already tired of the long trip from Marikina, I drove to the street shoulder then my wife asked a guy wearing green for directions to the original restaurant we had in mind. It was still a long way and we already saw the traffic buildup so my wife asked the guy where to get good bulalo. The guy wearing green quickly answered, “dito po sa amin masarap ang bulalo”. It turned out the guy is an employee of Morielli’s. We decided to have our lunch there but we joked at the guy that if the bulalo is not delicious then he’ll have to give us free desserts.Of course we ordered their bulalo along with pork sisig and, later on, Lechon a la Morielli’s halfway during our meal. You may already be thinking by now that everything we ordered are all very unhealthy. I will explain below that their versions also have a healthy side.We observed that the bulalo had all of the natural beef flavor in it and we were sure that there’s no MSG and little or no patis. The patis with calamansi and labuyo will be the diner’s personal addition while eating. The bulalo stock did not gel up (sebo) even though the dining area has air conditioning. The sisig was not too salty. Yes, it’s oily but not as oily compared to those in most restaurants. I’m not a fan of sisig with liver because it tends to dominate the taste in my mouth. But in their version, the flavor was balanced and nobody in our group requested for liquid seasoning to enhance the taste. So again, there’s no added MSG in this one. With three out of four adults getting a second cup of rice, we added Lechon a la Morielli in our order. Before ordering, I asked the server a backgrounder on the entrée and he said that it’s oven cooked, not deep fried. The meat was very tender and moist. The skin part was very crispy. I explained to our group that this entrée must have been prepared using a high-tech oven that chefs prefer. The finished product comes out with the natural flavor locked-in and no additional oil being used.My rating for this place is 5. It’s not so often to come across a restaurant with good food, cozy interior and great service altogether. They even hand out a nice little token to each guest. And one last thing, the guy wearing green, whom we asked for directions, came to our table after we finished eating. He politely asked if the bulalo was delicious. We all answered “yes” and thanked him for leading us to dine at Morielli’s. (End note: the restaurant’s staff uniform is green shirt with the employee’s name embroidered on one side.)

Went here for lunch as this resto is quite near where we were staying in Tagaytay. We ordered the usual fare of Nilgang Bulalo (of course!) and Sizzlig Sisig, among other viands. The owner got our names and printed out the meaning of our names as our souvenirs. I think that's a pretty nice touch.

I came here because of all the glowing reviews and I wasn't disapponted. The food is good and not over-seasoned, meaning you will get the real taste of the food without it being very salty or oily. I loved the stuffed bell pepper although I wanted the green pepper but the only had the red one available. The staff are super accomodating. The interior was relaxing and well put-together. The restrooms were nice and clean, spacious and with toilet paper. We were also given the surprise and souvenir of knowing the meanings of our names since it was our first time dining there.

i've read about their pepper rice surprise and it did not disappoint. the staff was quick to refill my bottomless iced tea and to serve my strawberry ice cream upon request. they give out souvenirs for first time visitors: a piece of paper where they try to describe you as a person with just your name. the ambience was perfect and there were artwork on the walls (looked like from other visitors) will be back to try their other dishes.

Another must try in Tagaytay! Good thing we decided to try this place, our food trip is a success! :) Food - 4.5/5The food is served fast and hot. They are generous with their servings and It's surprisingly delicious. We ordered bicol express, crispy binagoongan and pesto malunggay. The food exceeds my expectations. The crispy binagoongan is made me think that im eating bagnet with bagoong but with lesser fat. Bicol express melts the taste in my mouth. Its So creamy. Pesto malunggay puzzles me on how the put in the malunggay on the dish, anyway i taste good. Place - 4/5I will be better if they will have a lake view. Service - 4/5Very accommodating host, with free wifi and they even gave us certificates that describe our names. Looking forward on having a gastronomic experience on morielli's soon! :)
