This is the low-key sibling restaurant of LZM, which years ago began by the side of Riviera Golf Course on Aguinaldo Highway, and then opened this branch on Tagaytay's ridge. It looks quite spartan compared to the newly opened LZM branch in Ayala Serin but is an upgrade from their first. We always order two things from them: their huge fried daing na bangus and a bowl of bulalo; for the latter, ask them to reheat it if the broth is lukewarm. Portions have been of a good size, and let's hope that doesn't change.

I'm kinda picky in terms of how my Bangus should be cooked but LZM meets up my expectation, They have the best Bangus! if you are not so picky on ambiance and service and you just want a satisfying home cooked meal, this is the place. It's also good for Balikbayans to visit.. Still for me the place to be for Bulalo and Bangus in Tagaytay

Been here twice, and I loved it both times. My husband took me here and I never would've given this place a chance! This is another perfect example to not judge a restaurant by its appearance.Parking has expanded - you can park behind the building for free, so that's a plus :) the only negative thing I can say is that sometimes the wait can take such a long time - BUT I can guarantee you that it'll be worth the wait! Now, with that aside, my favorites are (siempre) the bulalo (if you don't order this, you can ask for just the sabaw, and they're generous with that), bangus, and chicharon bulaklak. I've also tried the squid and liempo and it's so good! The bulalo though... This is the best I've ever had. And I love bulalo. I love it with lots of vegetables, and LZM delivers that. The broth is so rich and full of flavor and is served hot - the absolute perfect comfort food, especially on a chilly day in Tagaytay. Their bangus is so big! (Seriously though, where do these restaurants find such big bangus because at the Highlands it's big as well?) and no need for any extra flavoring (toyomansi with sili... Hindi po kailangan!) because it's perfectly seasoned :)And the chicharon bulaklak! My affinity for "laman loob" has grown ever since I met my husband. I actually crave these sometimes! And this one has the right combination of crunchy and chewy goodness we all love in chicharon. My hubby loves to surprise me with these - tis my favorite kind of flower ;)Anyway, this place is a must-try and also a place you'd like to keep visiting time and time again. You will not be disappointed :)PS - no pictures because we were just toooo hungry!PPS - it says home delivery, but when we called, they told is they don't deliver. And if you order bulalo as pick-up, you need to bring your own container hahaha

My favorite filipino restaurant (aside fromManam and locavore). Everything was awesome. Although interiors were just okay, it gives you this traditional filipino homey feels. Also, very very sulit and cheap! One can definitely eat a lot, pay little and end up very satisfied and full! Try their kare kare, laing, bicol express, bangus and bulalo! Definitely worth going! Been here so many times! Always feel satisfied!

I'm giving LZM's bulalo a thumbs up! The taste was perfect compared to the other bulalo places that I've been to in Tagaytay. The grilled squid was good too. Although the place was small and usually packed, their food and price sealed the deal. 👍🏼

The best chicharon bulaklak everrrr! 😍 I could have finished 1 whole order by myself but my companions also loved this, I'm sure they won't let me do so.  Kulang na lang, ako ang magdistribute per piece sa mga plato namin, just to be sure that no one's one-upping another.  My father actually requested to order another serving, with still half of our order left on the plate.  That's how good it was!  But sometimes, conscience knocks, especially when we've been constantly preaching to our parents the value of dieting and eating heart-friendly food.  So we opted out of the extra order. I still regret that decision to this day. 😂Another bestseller is their boneless bangus - almost all tables had an order of this.  This is my mother's favorite dish.  Flavorful and fatty. I'm not really fond of bangus in general, but I liked this. A bit expensive at P400, but a serving is huge so we had half of it wrapped up for dinner. We also ordered the quintessential tagaytay fare - bulalo.  It's good enough:  tender beef, flavorful broth (w/c is refillable) and crisp veggies.  I think it just needs a bit more of the marrow. If ambiance is a deal-breaker for you, then I won't recommend you to go to this place.  Unlike some of the better known restaurants, it doesn't offer a good view of taal.  It's also cramped inside, with little space between tables.  But the food more than made up for this, and service is quick, you'll be sure to have your food served to your table in no time.

This unassuming restaurant is one of my favorite in Tagaytay. They have the best fried boneless bangus which you can enjoy with bulalo, sinigang, or a vegetable viand. Love their chicharong bulaklak too! Price is just right and the service is fast no matter how busy.

It's a must-visit place because it's simply the best place to go to when you're craving bulalo or when you're in Tagaytay. Their place is just in the main road so it's accessible. The ambiance of the place is okay. Also, the place itself is simple and spacious, but clean. When it comes to their food, I swear it's the BEST. It's one of the best bulalo I ever tasted. We also ordered boneless bangus and calamares it also tastes good.Their serving is very generous, and the price of their food is affordable.Though the service is slow, but it's DEFINITELY worth it when you eat their food.
