An alternative if you're not craving for LZM's bulalo and bangus, hahahaha. The brownie points for this place goes to the parking (which there's a lot of now behind the building), and their banchan! Nega points though for slow service (even with those doorbell thingies, the servers forgot most of what we asked for and we'd have to call them back to follow it up - 3x, each time, I kid you not) But the banchan is yummy. It comes with a squash soup and salad, which is different. My hubby North was not too fond of the kimchi though - according to him, it's good but not great. But their kbbq is so noms! I seriously love kbbq and have no complaints. Their pork isn't tough or too fatty when grilled. The beef slices are the best. Tis my new fave korean place in Tagaytay.

EDIT: IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A ZERO/0 I WOULD we gave them another chance and tried their bingsu IT WAS THE WORST BINGSU EVER AND THE MOST EXPENSIVE dont get tricked with their opening promo the medium strawberry cost us 350 ??!! only the classic is 180! AND THE STRAWBERRIES WERE ROTTEN AND TASTED ARTIFICIAL AS HELL OK IT WAS THE WORST AND THEY DIDNT CARE AT ALL I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS ESTABLISHMENT PLEASE NEVER EAT HERE OMGService is pretty terrible we were outside waiting then a couple just waltzed right in and sat in a free table and the incompetent staff DIDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT no regard whatsoever for the people waiting in line even the group waiting before us got pissed and went right in to sit on a free table because looks like the staff doesn't give a damn. Embarrassing service from this place god if this wasnt the only Korean place here I would not eat here ever shameful. The food was also mediocre at best to be honest the staff were also very inattentive they burned our samgyupsal.

We arrive at 9:00pm. They wont sell barbeque anymore because the griller is already clean according to the staff, And the resto will be close at 10pm. A bit disappointed but nevertheless the food was great. we enjoyed it alot.

We are a regular at this place. Their new name now is Rex Korean Restaurant. Crazy about their Budae-Jjige. Just wasn't able to take pictures of their unli Samgeop-Sal because I was so busy eating 😂

I fell in love with their Beef Bulgogi. They also serves different side dishes. I didn't enjoy their Kimbap because it has an after taste like plastic, and was stored days ago. Their staff were attentive. I'd like to have another try with another dishes.

Very good ambiance and place to enjoy eating samgyupsal. Very affordable price. The service is very good. 👍 Their crew is very kind and easy to approach when you need something. They will assist you if you dont know how to grill your order. Like us 😅

P380 for unli samgyupsal that is pork belly. Their meat was fatty but you could remove the fat before you eat it. For their sides, I only enjoyed the kimchi and the rest I just had a few bites to taste. On some sides, they don't mix the spicy paste so you have the option of having it spicy or not. There's an additional P40 per order of rice and I don't know why but they took so long to serve us the rice. Staff were lifeless but they were accommodating nonetheless. My rating is low because I've had better samgyupsal experience. Also, there was a random sausage that came with the meat? Idrk.

My family dined here last Oct 16 at around 5pm. They were only catering to 2 tables including ours. We ordered their 380/pax unli Samgyupsal.Pork😱😱😱: Big in size but has NO TASTE or whatsoever at all. When we asked for any available condiments or sauce, a server said "SORRY DIPO AVAILABLE ANG BBQ SAUCE."😆😆 when after a few minutes the other table who ordered Korean BBQ was whopping with BBQ sauce. He could have said they charge for it, and wala nmn problema samin.Side dishes/veggies😵😵😵: LIMITED to only 2 batches, they charged us on the 3rd or so when in fact they claimed it was unlimited when we ordered.Waiters😠: very sluggish. Disorganized. One of the employees even had this "attitude." The Unli samgyupsal comes with a free iced tea. We keep on following up our iced tea and drinks coz we are already finished with our meal when this employee said "😈😈😈 EH KASI PO WALA PANG MAGTITIMPLA!!" 😈😈😈on a very rude tone. It was like, Wow Ha. Kami pa may problema na walang magtitimpla pra sa amin.When it was time to settle our bill, one of my friends asked the manager to at least train her waiters in dealing with customers... The Alleged rude waiter had the nerve to come up to our table and yelled "Grabe naman kayo sir!!!"😈😈any not a single gesture of apology. Hey girl, the customer is always right!Oh well, a very terrible dining experience indeed.If i can give this restaurant a -1000 rating, I will.I will never ever recommend this to anyone or even dream of coming back. Grrr.

Apart from the food tasting pretty mediocre to bad, both my parents are now sick in bed one feeling dizzy the other having diarrhea. WIll surely not go here again. btw: those 4 "5.0" ratings are clearly fake, each has posted around the same time 1 year ago and other than that one review they haven´t written a review for anything else.
