When we first passed thru this cakeshop, we couldn't help but laugh at the name. Who the hell is Greg? And what is up with his fruitcake? Our curiosity took over that we actually went in to try their cakes. The place is a amazingly beautiful - with cakes, breads and dessert in every corner. It looks, smells and feels like Christmas 365 days of the year. You will be welcomed and captivated by the aromatic cinnamon, and it's a very wonder feeling.Unfortunately, no one amongst us really like fruitcake. So we decided to get ourselves some slices of cake. You will see in the photos we ordered several to try the many options in their very beautiful cake display. But in all honesty, nothing particular stood out. They were not bad, but they werent particularly good either. The cake wasn't moist, it was even bordering on dry. The coffee was average too. On the brighter side, the cake prizes range from 100-150. Their cupcakes, cookies and brownies are quite affordable too. Despite the so-so dessert offerings, there is something in the cakeshop that gives you a relaxing, Christmasy and happy feeling. I definitely wouldn't mind going back.

I bookmarked this place in the hope that when I visit Tagaytay I'll make sure to drop by and one Saturday I asked my friends to try Greg's. From the display window I must say I was in awe so many choices and they all look delicious. The place itself is so cozy and the baking area is expose a better way of presenting the bakers in action.Cake wise they have variety but coffee and tea wise limited perhaps it's because they are really not a coffe shop type they are more on take out's.We had ensaymada I liked it its soft and chewy sweet and salty just balance. Then their double chocolate cookie not chewy and sweet its not something I recommend. Then one of the best cakes we tried is their carrot cake taste good and the well balance generously done. Well for the other cakes we tried I must say we are disappointed because it's not moist it's either ingredients or baking related or the cakes are no longer fresh 😵 the caramel cake the triple golden cake both lacks the moist we are looking for, really hoping they can improve that. Overall experience sad because I recommend it to my friends and yet we are not satisfied when we left.
