If you're lookin for a classy dining Steak Dinner with your date, bring her/him here. The Tagaytay view is just remarkable! The entire place like a compound of restaurants here have a good taste and has really kept this place neat and beautiful. I am really in awe and wondering why my family haven't gone to this place even for once.Owner and Chef Paul Huang gave us a warm welcome and a delicious sample of their best selling soup, steak anf dessert.PUMPKIN SOUP hot orange soup with pumkin flavor. It's thick and perfect to warm your throat on a cold windy Tagaytay weather.AUSTRALIAN SIRLOIN with Red wine shallot sauce, silky mashed potato and veggies. It is cooked medium rare, still moist and tender and every bite is indeed pleasurable.Malibu poached pineapple carpaccio withCandied Brandy basket and coconut ice cream!!!!!!I am very very delighted with this dessert. It is home made and eating it with a little bit of everything is the secret.Thank you so much! This is my first time here in this side of tagaytay and I'm glad I discovered it along with my website peeps. 😊

Classy. That's the word to describe Fire Lake Grill. From the more senior and well, more serious-looking servers, who know what they're doing, to the dishes they offer diners. Dishes, I should say, that are personally prepared as evident to the details given to each. Pumpkin Soup. Rich, thick and deliciously textured what with the pumpkin seeds floating on top. This is perfect way of whetting one's appetite.  Australian Sirloin with Red Wine Shallot Sauce. I have been living with a sling on my right arm for the past 23 years that using a knife (any knife) on my food is something already alien to me. So, if I can't slice food using a fork, then, I just don't partake of it. But not with Fire Lake's sirloin. It's tender and moist and grilled just right. Salt and pepper? No need. Anything more will be blasphemous. Pineapple Carpaccio with Candied Basket and Coconut Ice Cream. Playfully beautiful and bursting with flavors. The sweetness was never overwhelming with the slight tartness of the fruit blending well. And the coconut ice cream? Just magical.  Fire Lake Grill is just the place where your senses of sight, smell and taste will thank you for submitting them to a state where absence-of-negativity rules. My Fire Lake experience was simply positive and yes, unforgettable.

We stumbled upon the quiet and relaxing ambiance of the restaurant and the scenic view of Taal Volcano. It feels good to have a vacation here with your family or with your date. Service is good. Servers are attentive to their customers. Chef Paul is friendly and accommodating. He shared us trivia about his career and what Fire Lake Grill has to offer. We have tried some of their dishes:Pumpkin Soup - It was thick and rich, and a little sweet. What I like about it is that the taste last long in your tongue. It's topped with pumpkin seeds I even enjoyed eating haha.Australian Strip Loin with Red Wine Shallot Sauce Silky Mashed Potatoes and Veggies - you can even see on the kitchen window how they prepare and grill the meat. It's tender enough to make me enjoy it. It was flame-grilled. It's definitely my favorite. It's best paired with their soft mashed potato. The gravy made everything more delightful.Malibu Poached Pineapple Carpaccio with Candied Brandy Basket and Coconut Ice Cream - it's one of their signature dishes and has perfected the complex mix of every ingredient. Imagine tasting the combination of sweet coconut cream, tangy yet smoky-flavored pineapple, and the crunchy texture of the basket all in one bite. It was really good. It's one of my recommended places to eat in Tagaytay. Overall experience is excellent!

Super good food and even better service!Got the blackened beef salad and US Angus Ribeye and both were sooo good and tender. Serving size is pretty big too. Chef Paul also served us a complimentary off-the-menu chocolate mousse dessert since it was our anniversary. Will definitely be back again. 😊

The staff is very accommodating. I had the prime rib eye steak and my boyfriend had the australian lambchops and it was scrumptious. Chef Paul came often to our table to check if everything is good. Will go back again. 💕

I only give reviews when am blown away. And Fire Lake really did. We really went out of our itinerary to visit this restaurant, realizing too late we didn't plan well. We should have made a reservation on a busy season. But Ralph and Jelay upon hearing of our dilemma set up a table for us in a comfortable nook. The food that followed from the bread to the soup to the salad to the steak... sooo good! But what made it memorable is the thoughtful care they serve you. It's not even like royalty, more like a well loved family. Which makes us heart and stomach happy.Obviously we loooove Fire Lake Grill! Sa uulitin!

This is our 2nd time here and this time we tried their house salad, angus rib eye steak and grilled prawns. The salad was ok, the prawns were 3 small pieces and the angus rib eye was burned and tough. We did complain about the burned steaks but was told it was because of the grill. There was no offer to change it. 😒The service was good though, waiter was attentive.

Food - 4/5Ambiance - 3/5Service - 4/5Highly recommended:- Australian strip loin (P1200): flame grilled, tender and flavorful. Comes with generous serving of side dish and veggies.Other items:- asparagus and mushroom risotto (P390) : flavor was good but would prefer the risotto to be a tiny bit creamier.- pumpkin soup (p180): soup is good and I enjoyed the pumpkin seeds- fresh mushroom soup (P210): you can definitely tell that this is made from fresh mushroomWent here for lunch and it was only us dining inside which made the ambiance a bit sad. Interior can be improved to have a more upscale / romantic feel. Never the less, we still enjoyed our lunch here.
