The food here was delicious and worth the visit since we had to drive 2 hours just to eat there. Their signature dish bulalo was superb! Served hot on top of a flaming pot.On the other hand, they need to improve their service since the service crew are slow and does not seem to care about the people eating. Water was supposed to be served first thing when customers sit but when we ate there they served us water after we've eaten and they didn't have any plans to serve us not until we call them. Lol

Exaggeratedly slow service, they’ll see you calling them but pretend that they didn’t noticed you.We were served cold viands and they will take 15-20 minutes for just an extra order of 1 rice. Asked for the bill but waited to long already so we just went down directly to the cashier to pay, the men we’re just chatting. Please improve your service.

Napakabagal ng preparation. It took 30 mins para lang sa breakfast. Price is not even worth it sa service na binibigay nila. Walang kusa mga waiter, nakalimutan pa ata order namin dahil pgka follow up andun na agad at malamig na. Means nakalimutan talaga nila iserve. Coffee is unli pero wag kayo magexpect na may creamer at tasa. Meron dito mdming paper cups dun niyo lalagay yung kape niyo.

I like this place because it’s open until midnight, the ambiance is good and their service. I rate it 5 because the price of their bulalo is not that expensive but the taste is so good. I don’t have the chance to take different pictures of their place because me and my co-workers are very hungry that night. 😂

That was not our first time to have dinner at this restaurant (when it's late, I'm tired to cook, and this was one of the few restaurants that was still open past 9pm in Tagaytay). It was not a busy night (a lot of tables were empty) hence hospitality, a known Filipino trait, should be the first thing served as you walk in. Unfortunately, we were snobbed by the man in brown apron (I think he is the manager if not the owner). There was no other staff to attend to us at that time, and that snobbish man was not busy, so we waited for a minute or two for us to be directed where to sit. The old man in brown apron came back from visually inspecting (like pretending to be busy) the novelty snacks display, and I gestured in a manner of asking where we could sit. Again, he snobbed us and pointed us to one of the staff who was a bit farther from us than him. It felt like he didn't like what he was doing, like a naughty kid grounded by his parents and was forced to help in the restaurant as punishment. If bossing around the other staff was his task, he was definitely doing a good job. The sofa we first sat on smelled like a drunk man who smokes and hasn't taken his bath, so we transferred to the regular chair. The food were good, the Bulalo soup (not in picture) was satisfying, but the cost comes with the price tag of ambience, comfort, cleanliness of surroundings, and more importantly a set of staff who are friendly and hospitable which we did not get. When you are hungry, you just got to eat- you do not mind the cost of what you are paying for, you are grateful for the good food that is in front of you. I could have given this restaurant a 3 star, but I just have to charge them back of the price tag we did not get. Recommended to visit all the way from Manila? When Balay Dako is already closed and there is no other choice for good Filipino food. Come to think of it, we haven't tried Rolando's, RSM, and Leslie's yet.

We had worst experience in this restaurant. I would not even rate it 1 star if not for the opportunity to review. They let us wait for 2 hours, and the food was served cold except for the bulalo. I will not recommend this place to anyone.Food - 0.01/5Service - 0.01/5Price - 0.001/5Cleanliness - 0.01/5

Went to this resto for a stopover. Their Bulalo is really good as well as the seafood mix platter. Their tempura is not that good for me, the shrimp is too soft and the batter is bland. Anyhow, the Bulalo redeemed it.

What we had:Bulalo, squid, eggplant ensalada, sisig, mango sticky rice What I liked:With the number of food we ordered, the service was pretty fast. It is a good place to get Filipino food, bulalo obviously, if you’re in Tagaytay. Nothing extraordinary with the food. But the bulalo and the mango sticky rice were good.

We just tried it for a change. The service was too slow. Mabait ung isang waiter pero the rest cant even smile. Ang alat ng bulalo so wag na magkamali sa pag prepare ng sawsawan. Baha ung c.r., walang flush so manual timba. Im not sure kung what happened but I guess I wont be back.
