Tagaytay is the place to go to, if you want to escape the busy scene of the City once in while. A few drive from manila will lead you to this beautiful city with a colder climate. We went here to have some lunch with some website Foodies for a #websiteXnutriasia food crawl. Our first stop was the D’Banquet Restaurant located just along the road leading of Aguinaldo Highway leading to Tagaytay City. The restaurant has a nice location and a big parking space so don’t even worry in bringing your car. The facade of D’Banquet is like a garden type. They also have a air-conditioned dining area if you find it too humid outside.

D' Banquet Bakeshop & Restaurant is our first stop for websitexNutriAsia Tagaytay Foodcrawl. The place is spacious with an in-house café, a buffet spread with an indoor and outdoor setting plus a bakeshop — Amira's Buco Haus. I also love their garden-inspired interiors which gives off a very laidback and relaxing ambiance. The restaurant serves feel-good Filipino food! Here are some of the food we sampled —🍽 Native Fried Chicken (Whole - P680)Fried nicely with its meat still soft and not dry. A good no-fuss savory chicken dish. 🍽 Bulalong Batangas (P565)Let's admit it. A trip to Tagaytay is never complete without having Bulalo. And I'm super glad we had this here in D' Banquet! The Bulalo soup was super tasty and hits you right in the soul. 😂 🍽 Binagoongang Boneless Crispy Pata (P680)Yasss who doesn't love a good crispy pata? No one! D' Banquet's version is quite unique due to the bagoong. It brought out all kinds of flavors to the dish. Sinfully good. 🍽 Kalderetang Bibe (P430)Soft and tender duck meat and well-seasoned. Perfectly paired with rice! 🍚🍽 Crispy Nilasing na Hipon (P330)Loved this one! It's a good appetizer dish, though you'd probably won't be able to stop munching on this once you had a bite. It's very crispy and tasty — really addicting. 🍽 Beef Stir Fry (P520)Tender meat and really savory, I liked the fact that the beef retained its juicy and soft texture which isn't present in some stir fry dishes. A classic. 👍🏻🍽 Turon de Saba (P150)Beautifully plated flattened turon with mango mousse. It's your good ole' turon merienda or panghimagas, just fancier. 👌🏻Aside for these mouthwatering Filipino favorites, we also got to try some of their tarts from Amira Buco Haus bakeshop. They have a whole range of different tarts from mango cheesecake, blueberry cheesecake and your classic buko tart! Perfect as pasalubong. 💯The food was good especially if you're craving for classic Filipino fare, a must visit in Tagaytay. They have ample parking spaces and amazing service. I'll make sure to drop by the next time I'm in Tagaytay to try their coffee in their in-house café. Ciao! 👋🏻website China China

We were invited to  #zomatoXNutriasia Food Crawl the second time around and we sampled some of Tagaytay’s Restaurant. Our first stop was the D’ Banquet Restaurant if you’re familiar with the Pink Sisters in Tagaytay, the said restaurant is actually located in front of the street that will lead you to the church.

Mediocre food. Slowest service ever. We had to wait for almost an hour for pinakbet and grilled bangus! And this was on a weekday. Our bill was not computed correctly either so we had to wait even longer for them to resolve the extra charge.

Cheap buffet with lots of choicesProduct: It seems that most restaurants in Tagaytay switch from ala carte to buffet during Sundays, and that includes D'Banquet. It took us a while to decide but eventually, we all agreed to go here. They have stations for pasta, viands, salads, appetizers, and desserts. There's so much to choose from and if you're going here with kids, they'll find so many familiar dishes that they won't find it hard to choose which dishes they will eat. I loved all the pasta, they gave me the taste that I expected and I was satisfied with it. They also had Bulalo soup and Bulalo Mechado which you should taste especially if you can't leave Tagaytay without tasting some. Basically, they offer you your favorite homemade dishes and you can have as much as you can. The taste doesn't stand out but they weren't bad so you can't complain. Some of the desserts were good like the ube pastry and the kiwi cake. Some were okay, not too sweet and just enough to be a "pampatanggal umay" and get some sugar on your taste buds.Venue: D'Banquet is like a party venue type and a cozy cafeteria. There's a small room with aircon but most people dine outside, Tagaytay's breeze isn't hot so eating outside isn't such a bad choice. There's also a musician going from table to table who sings 2 songs/per table. I don't know if he's an employee there but everyone else seems to be happy having him around for some entertainment. The servers are okay, sometimes they were easy to call, sometimes you have to shout a few times to get their attention but they do act quickly when you make a request.

Maganda ang place. After magsimba sa pink sisters, eto ang masarap kainan. 4 stars kasi medyo pricey ang food pag oorder sa menu. Meron dn silang eat all you can na madami ring food choices.
